This building is an Atrium design which contains the Student bookshop, the main refectory, a Starbucks and the Student Help Desk and social space, and is therefore the main thoroughfare for students and staff on Campus. As part of this renovation we needed to modernise the loose furniture which was located throughout the length of the Atrium. Macoi were given a brief to produce a design and fabric for approx. 8 sectional sofas which would be both robust enough for such a well used space as well as vibrant and appealing in colour to enhance the refurbishment works undertaken. Macoi responded with a range of colour designs and fabric of which 3 were chosen as ideal for the space and these were ordered, manufactured, delivered and installed by Macoi almost a week ahead of schedule. This furniture was perfect for the area and we have received extremely positive feedback from students and staff as well as visitors and I would congratulate Macoi on their expertise in interpreting and delivering the exact product for our purpose.
