The Chestnut Street Singers, an aspiring chamber choir from Center City, will present music of loss and
remembrance. The program of works from the Renaissance to the present will include those by
Ockeghem, Victoria, Parry, and Tavener. It will also feature Herbert Howell’s poignant Take Him, Earth,
for Cherishing, first sung at a 1964 anniversary memorial for President John F. Kennedy.

Interspersed with performances of some of David's favorite works, this is a humorous, sometimes jarring, and often poignant story not to be missed. Due to the anticipated popularity of this concert, a free ticket is required. Reserve yours at www.proclamation.org/davidkim
