Concerning stripping/HLT1correlations

The issue: How much does the HLT1 cut ?Defined as events passing the stripping and L0 events passing stripping+L0+HLT1

This is an update of this previous talkCP measurements WG: gamma with trees (05 March 2009)

Previous resultsHere all alleys. Both TIS and TOS

Removing almost all the cuts 19.1(Bigger cause I removed all the cuts )

+ 2.5 Gev Pt cut on one of daughters 8.8

+ 5.0 Gev Pt cut on one of daughters 5.4

No Pt cuts + pointing cut @ < 0.4 17.4

Pt on one daughter > 2.5GeV + pointing cut @ < 0.4

8.7

No Pt cuts + No pointing cut + track χ2 cut at < 10

18.1

Now will look into more detail at various lines and at TIS/TOS

Removing almost all the cutsfor mbias L0-yes events I get

1260 pass

73 pass HLT1

~factor 17 as seen before !

Let’s now take only the L0-hadron

1260 pass

765Pass

L0-had

16 HLT1 SingleHad

7~28 factor bigger than what seen before

What did we learn so far ?

•Removing almost all the stripping cuts we still have this factor of events cut by the HLT1 (which obviously gets bigger) We can re-produce it for TOS events which pass the L0-hadron and then look separately at the Single and di-Hadron linesWhat’s next ?• Adding HLT1 like cuts one by one in the stripping and see what changes.
