BPA is a Bisphenol A chemical used to produce reusable plastic products, such as baby bottles, toddler sippy cups and toys.

These types of chemicals have repotedly hadhealth effects on humans, specifically in thefetal and infant states.

The problem with BPA is that it can leak from the plastic and pose a potential health risk.

There are restrictions on the presence of BPA in childrens toys. Since January 2017, Bisphenol A is included on the EU candidate list of particularly hazardous substances.
