How does School of One work?
Students at a school are given diagnostic tests and surveys to determine a student profile of academic needs and preferences called a Playlist
Students cluster into groups based on needs (e.g. 20 students work on Skill 24, 5 work on Skill 32, etc.)
A scheduling algorithm determines the modality of instruction for that skill group and the best lesson in that modality (e.g. virtual instruction with Destination Math)
Students take a Playlist Update to assess mastery, which changes the clusters for the next day
