ComunicaPA is a mobile communication framework that allows citizens and enterprises to easily communicate with the Italian Public Administration.

It is also a general purpose mobile email and PEC (legal email) client.

It is effectively included in the context of the Web of Data and it is perfectly integrated with mobile functionalities.

The ProblemThe Problem

In Italy it has always been difficult for citizens and enterprises to communicate and interact with the public administration (PA). Quite often it's very hard to gain access to the relevant contact information of the PA.

Instruments such as legal emails (PEC) are becoming more and more essential but these are not supported well by apps.

This issue is becoming more prominent by the fact that nowadays communication happens at a much faster pace and often through the use of mobile devices.

The SolutionThe Solution

A mobile system that allows users to search for contact information from the Web of Data and then use this to phone, send emails and PEC to the PA.

This is exactly what ComunicaPA is. It retrieves and consumes Linked Open Data which is always updated and maintained by third official parties. This means that a large amount of data does not need to be embedded which would be unfeasible and not scalable for a mobile application.

Furthermore ComunicaPA is a smart application because it is also able to use internal mobile functionalities such as phone calls, installed email clients and Web browsers. Note that ComunicaPA is also a general purpose email client and PEC client: it works with generic emails and PEC.

As a result ComunicaPA is an all-in-one, lean, useful, innovative and effective mobile application.

These skills are entirely owned by the team, that is able to autonomously carry out next enhancements.
