COMPUTER CODING MANUAL (6th Edition)
INTRODUCTION
Observation data are coded using a Paradox for Windows application 'DatEntry'. (See installation manual for further details.) There are four data entry screens; main, base, species & environmental. Starting 'DatEntry' opens the main data entry screen from which the other screens can be accessed. The main data form has to be completed before the other data can be entered.
All Observers MUST get base and observer codes from database manager prior to trip. Please do not add any codes to any part of the manual without consultation.
