• All public bodies, like Devon County Council will be getting less money from Government to provide services and will need to make tough choices on how to reduce costs and save money.

• We need to start thinking about how any changes to services, not just social care, may affect vulnerable people and their families, for example;

– Housing– Employment– Leisure– Transport– Social activities– Welfare - Benefits

• This year 24% cut in our main Grant

• Non-schools budgets at least 12% cuts
