Deputy Chief Space Support Element, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, KS Jan 2012 to Jul 2013 Developed, coordinated, and executed compartmentalized programs while deployed in combat

operations, which provided effects in support of the Combatant Commander's operational priorities. Developed and maintained time sensitive Concept of Operations briefings, which brought national

assets to support combat operations. Served as the staff lead for Alternate Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM), managing access

and reading personnel on to the programs, ensuring those programs maintained proper security. Integrated and de-conflicted special programs, ACCM, and Information Operations (IO) effects across

the staff and with DoD, Joint Staff, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), National Security Agency (NSA), and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), which enabled complicated special programs to compliment and enhance other programs’ effects on the battlefield.

Delivered space capabilities, products, and expertise in support of operations, which provided space force enhancement, space-based surveillance coordination, blue force tracking expertise and battlefield analysis and characterization.

1st Space Brigade Plans Officer, SMDC/ARSTRAT, Peterson AFB, CO Nov 2009 to Dec 2011 Planned the1st Space Brigade staff actions necessary to relocate D Company, 53rd Signal Battalion

from Camp Roberts, CA to Wahiawa, HI, while maintaining 24/7/365 mission command and operations, which provided increased capabilities to control the communications payload and communications transmissions of the Defense Satellite Communications Systems (DSCS) and Wideband Global Satellite Communications (WGS) constellations.

Developed specific exercise scenarios for 53rd Signal Battalion’s participation in major warfighter exercises, which prepared and tested Soliders on technical problems outside of the Command Inspection and Evaluation Program (CIEP).

Provided quality and control oversight from the 1st Space Brigade during the 53rd Signal Battalion’s CIEP for D Company which moved them from the Initial Operational Capability (IOC) phase to the Final Operational Capability (FOC) phase.

Planned, coordinated, and resourced the training, preparation, and deployment of Space Brigade Soldiers in support of Overseas Contingency Operations and multiple warfighter exercises, which enabled tactical commanders to utilize space assets to improve the efficiency of their operations.

Integrated Army space assets to support Geographic Combatant Commanders, Numbered Armies, Conventional and Special Operation Joint Task Forces, Corps, Marine Expeditionary Forces, and National Agencies, which resulted in more accurate weapons use, better location of blue and red forces, and better isolation of interference on satellite communications (SATCOM).

Certified in DSCS Satellite Configuration Control Element, Senior DSCS Controller, Satellite Network Controller, Ground Mobile Forces Satellite Communications Network Controller, and Frequency Division Multiple Access Network Controller, which resulted in improved accuracy and efficiency on the DSCS network.

Operated/maintained a $35 million satellite network control facility resulting in 99.93% operational rate.
