Logistics organisation within the Pošta Slovenije GroupThe main concentration of activity flows through the two postal logistics centres (PLCs), while the parcel transhipment post offices (PTCs) allow further intensive logistical processes. To provide even more comprehensive services, we store goods at two warehouses in Maribor and Ljubljana.

Pošta Slovenije’s vehicle fleet is comprised of over 1000 goods vehiclesOur fleet includes goods vehicles and medium-sized delivery vehicles designed to carry cargo, large and small single-piece items, some are equipped with a tail lift, manual pallet jacks and transport carts. The vehicles’ capacity ranges from ca. 20.3 m³ to 44.8 m³.

Environmentally responsiblePošta Slovenije‘s services are inextricably linked with road use and environmental impacts. Environmentally-friendly vehicles make up part of the company’s vehicle fleet. Its environmentally-friendly vehicle fleet and fossil-fuel powered vehicles that must comply with the highest environmental standards thus reduce CO₂ emissions. In line with the principle of social and environmental responsibility, the company is also adapting to new trends in the business environment by introducing new “green” vehicles to its vehicle fleet. The vehicle fleet currently includes 42 electric bicycles, 2 electric scooters, 34 electric delivery vehicles and 57 light electric four-wheeled vehicles. In addition to the positive environmental aspect, the introduction of electricity-powered vehicles also contributes to the humanisation of work in the delivery segment.
