A prosperous 2011 to everyone! Let me begin by saying I’m honored to once again be

serving as Inland Empire Chapter President for another term. 2011 looks to be an exciting year and we’re entering in to it full steam ahead!

As I write this, we already have the CLCA Leadership Conference, LIS Show AND our first Chapter lunch meeting under our belts! Wow…what

an awesome way to kick-start our year and our businesses. Just in these three events, I learned better ways to lead our Chapter (and in my business), learned about lots of new products available for my clients (and myself) and learned how to “grow” my business...even in these challenging times.

If you’re reading this and you don’t currently participate in state and local CLCA activities, now’s the time to start. Make it your resolution, make it your mission, make it whatever you like…as long as you do it! CLCA has a lot to offer you on both a personal level with life-long relationships, and on a professional level with business tools, educational opportunities and networking. It’s time to start getting the most out of your membership!

I would like to take a moment to thank outgoing Board member Joy Fronte for her awesome year of service to our Chapter and Board. Joy gave a lot of herself, un-selfishly, to help our Chapter...wearing several hats under the one title of Treasurer. You did a great job Joy and you will be missed on the Board.

Of course, there are several other hard-working members on our Board who I’m glad to have return and help me lead our Chapter. I’m confident that with their help, along with the help of a couple of new members, we’ll take this Chapter up another level. If you haven’t met any of these hard-working folks yet, come on out to our next Chapter meeting, set for Feb. 15, in Ontario. We’d love to meet you!
