Exhibitors will be able to set up their booths on Tuesday 31 October from 1pm
after EXPONET builds the Booths. Exhibitors displaying large items of equipment
or motor vehicles will be contacted individually to arrange a time (TBC) to bump
these items in ahead of the booth build.
A comprehensive SHOW EXHIBITING GUIDELINES will be provided to every
Exhibitor as soon as their completed booth registration and payment is received.
LOGISTICS
Etihad Stadium is not a purpose built convention centre and does not have the
staff to personally cater to a large number of Exhibitors. Therefore all Exhibitors
must pay a small fee (amount scaled to booth size) to have full access to the
logistics services provided by Agility. This will ensure that bump in and bump out
are much quicker and more efficient than EXPO 2015. Exhibitors with equipment
and/ or pallets need to book access to Goods Lifts and if needed forklifts (drivers
included) and truck parking with Agility. Full details in SHOW EXHIBITING GUIDELINES
The Exhibit Hall will be open
Wednesday 1 November 2017 from 11.30am to 5.30pm
Thursday 2 November 2017 from 11.00am to 5.00pm*
*Exhibit Hall remains open during CLOSING COCKTAIL EVENT 3.30pm-5.00pm
BEST BOOTH
To maximise your company’s opportunities and drawing power, it is essential
that a professional standard regarding the quality and content of your display
be presented at your booth.
A prize will be awarded for the Best Exhibit Booth and the JUDGING CRITERIA and
other information will be outlined in the SHOW EXHIBITING GUIDELINES
BOOTH ALLOCATION
Exhibitors taking SPONSORSHIPS have booth allocation priority followed by Exhibitors
who have chosen Large-Sized booths. All other Exhibitors will have their booths
allocated according to the date order that their Booth Registration paperwork and
payment was received into the ACWA Office. This system is to ensure that –
o same or similar car wash suppliers are spaced out in the Exhibit Hall
o there is a booth provided for every Exhibitor
o required booth sizes have been provided for
o there is correct allocation of the “Sponsor” booths

SHOW ATTENDANCE To increase Event numbers ACWA has dramatically overhauled the Attendee
pricing for the 2017 SHOW.
The full breakfast and overpriced and unsatisfactory lunch catering at past
events will no longer be supplied. ACWA will host complimentary catering each
morning at Registration and there is a SILVER SPONSOR opportunity for the
food at the Closing Cocktail Party Event. Also ACWA has arranged for Etihad to
open one of the Stadium’s cafes for all delegates to purchase their own
refreshments and light lunches.
All of these measures have enabled ACWA to decrease the SHOW cost for delegates.
To further advertise the Show ACWA has purchased an EVENTS software
program which will provide on-line registration, a SHOW website and mobile
App, as well as continuing to promote via the electronic and quarterly
newsletters.
Delegates Registration and SHOW Information will be available from April 2017
GALA DINNER is a highlight of the SHOW
The 2017 Gala Dinner is being held in the Harbour View Room at the Waterfront,
Docklands. This stunning venue boasts amazing views across Victoria Harbour to
the city skyline and the floor to ceiling glass along the promenade gives the
impression you are sitting on the water.
Pre-Dinner drinks and canapes will be served on the Corner Balcony overlooking
the Docklands waterfront.
The evening features Awards, Special Guests, Dinner Speaker and other surprises.
Walking distance to Sebel and Mercure accommodation.

ACWA SHOW 2017 General SHOW Terms and Conditions
• Exhibitors must be financial Australian Car Wash Association supplier members.
• Exhibitor Identification – To ensure access Exhibitors must wear their Show Lanyard at all times during the bump in, two days of the Show and bump out as well as at the Social Events.
• Exhibitors must not assign, sublet or apportion space to any other person or entity
without prior written consent of the ACWA Show Management.
• Exhibitors should not exhibit, advertise, or offer for sale products or services other than those manufactured or sold by it in the regular course of business.
• No Exhibitor may display products or services for his company outside the confines of his
assigned booth space in Exhibit Hall.
• No competing activities or events may be organised by Exhibitors during the Show which may distract attendees from the Show, without express written permission of ACWA.
• Canvassing or attempting to make sales and/or distributing materials at the Show by
anyone representing or connected with a non-Exhibitor is strictly forbidden; any person doing so will be promptly ejected.
• Photography, sound recording or videoing other than by official ACWA photographers or an Exhibitor taking photographs of their own Booth is prohibited; any person doing so will be asked to delete the footage and hand over the equipment involved.
• Definition of included delegates – included delegates can only be permanent employees of the Exhibitor or representatives of the Manufacturer for whom the Exhibitor distributes.
• Where two or more Australian supplier members would like to have adjoining booths or on open shared booth they can do so but must register and will be invoiced as two separate entities.
For instance, two members may have a preferred but not exclusive relationship in the
supply of their products. A dog-wash supplier may recommend certain wash chemicals
and cloths and want the two exhibitor booths to be adjoining. Each company books and
registers for the booth size that suits their individual product list requirements and is
invoiced by ACWA for that space.
The two exhibitors will be allocated adjoining booths and when they are being built can
leave out the partition walls so that it is an open, joined space – but from ACWA’s
perspective they are still two individual and separate exhibitors, with the relevant
number of included permanent employee delegates allowed for each.
The only exception to this rule is where a manufacturer with Australian distributor(s)
and/or installers has supported ACWA by becoming a member in their own right. All the
companies involved must be supporting and promoting the same product as part of an
exclusive chain of supply.
In this case, where such a manufacturer member joins up with the Australian
distributor(s) of his product, then they can share a joint booth, which must be at least a
double, and must be named and displayed as the supplier/exhibitor of that product.
For instance, an equipment supplier member shares a triple booth with his Australian
distributor member(s). Even though two or more members are involved, ACWA will
treat this as one triple booth and will invoice accordingly – dividing the payment
between the members involved as required. Again, the included delegates must be
permanent employees or contractors of one or other of the members involved.
Once Registration Paperwork is received and payment processed
all Exhibitors will receive a copy of SHOW EXHIBITING GUIDELINES
