Key Terms
Agreement
All CEO’s must complete, submit and have accepted, by the
company, an Agreement in order to participate in the business.
This form transmits all the necessary information to the company
to set up the administrative accounting for the CEO. It also
specifies the conditions which the CEO must agree to abide
by in the exercise of the business. This document constitutes
a contract between the company and the CEO. Adherence to
the conditions of the Agreement is strictly enforced to ensure
successful and ethical exercise of the business opportunity.
Minimum order
There are no minimum orders required as a CEO.
Retail
Retail sales include sales from events, one-on-one contacts,
personal orders, website orders and Wine Club orders. Retail
price is the price of products shown in the company catalog, less
any customer discount.
Personally Recruited Active (PRA)
A CEO must reach $250 in PCV within the calendar month to be
considered qualified/active for the same calendar month.
Commission
The money a CEO receives from personal sales activity. The
Commission is calculated at 20-25% based on monthly PCV.
Personal Commissionable Volume (PCV)
PCV is the retail sales submitted by the CEO after any customer
discounts. This is the amount on which 20% or 25% commission
is paid. PCV includes orders acquired at tasting events,
corporate gifting, custom gifting, fundraisers, the CEO’s personal
website, and Wine Club subscriptions. PCV does not include
shipping charges or sales taxes. Purchases of host packages,
business supplies and other non-commissionable items are not
included in PCV.
Downline
The term used to describe the organization that a CEO builds.
It consists of the people that the CEO recruits and the people
they recruit and so on, down to the last person recruited in that
process. It is the “genealogy” of a CEO’s entire organization.
Upline
The genealogy or line of recruiting above you in the
organization. It starts with your Mentor and then goes to your
Mentor’s Mentor and so on.
Mentor
The person who recruits or brings a new CEO into the business
is called the Mentor. The Mentor is responsible for training and
ongoing support of all CEOs within the Downline. The Mentor is
part of the Upline.
Bonus Volume (BV)
Monthly coaching commissions are calculated based on the
Bonus Volume of the sales of CEOs in your Downline. Bonus
Volume is calculated at 70% of your Downline’s PCV. Bonus
Volume on sales of other items such as gift packs, coffee and
specialty items is determined by item and may be less than 70%.
Organization Volume
Organization Volume is the total PCV of your entire Downline
organization on all levels. This number includes your own
personal PCV.
Director Leg
A Leg begins with CEOs on the first level, and include everyone
within that CEOs Downline, on all levels. A qualified Director Leg
for Career Title and Pay Rank is a leg with at least one CEO at
the Director or above Pay Rank somewhere within the Leg.
Career Title
A CEO’s Career Title is used for recognition. The Title is
recognized the first day of the month following qualification. No
re-qualification of Title is necessary for recognition purposes.
Coaching commissions and bonuses are calculated and paid
each month based on results for that month. CEOs are paid
coaching commission each month in accordance with the Title
at which they are actually performing at for that month. A CEO’s
Career Title does not change unless he or she is demoted (see
Title Demotion Policy, below).
Pay Rank (or Paid-As Title)
CEOs are paid at the Title for which they qualify during the
calendar month. If in any calendar month, they fail to achieve the
pay rank of their recognized Career Title, they are paid at the
lower rank to which they qualify.
Title Achievement Bonus
A Director or above is eligible for a Title Achievement Bonus
when the Title Rank and Pay Rank are achieved for four (4)
consecutive months. The four consecutive months may be
achieved any time after promotion to the new Title and need not
be completed immediately. This Bonus is only paid once at each
applicable Title.
Loss of Downline
Inactivity for four (4) consecutive months by a Mentor may
result in loss of downline. This reassignment of downline would
permanent. If a Mentor is terminated or leaves the program,
the Downline will roll up to the next qualified Mentor within the
Upline. This roll-up is permanent, even if the original Mentor
CEO rejoins the program.
Title Maintenance / Demotion Policy
Career Title for Director is retained for four (4) months following
the month in which the Director qualifies (Paid-As). Career Title
for Senior Director, Executive Director and Senior Executive
Director are retained for six (6) months following the month in
which the SD or above qualify (Paid-as). When a CEO demotes
she will assume the paid-as Title for the month of her demotion.
Terminated
A CEO who has not paid for his viaONEHOPE website for two (2)
consecutive months will have his Agreement terminated.
