WHAT IS IT?LUX is a portable device useful for the screening of 6 analytes involved in common pathologies as diabetes, metabolic syndrome and anaemia.Hypercholesterolemia is a silent killer since cardiovascular diseases are the first reason for death in high income countries. LUX is able to measure the lipid panel by means of a single prick. Moreover there aretwo different ratios calculated by LUX: total cholesterol/HDL ratio and LDL/HDL ratio, linked to the cardiovascular risk. In addition, the glucose measurement allows a complete screening for metabolic syndrome. The software to download data is available.
