TECNORD, in partnership since 1994 with

DELTA POWER – USA and operating through

a network that covers all the main markets

worldwide, focuses primarily on manufacturing

In the year 2019 Tecnord

reported a total production

volume of more than 1.38 million

parts and reached a number of more

than 200 employees.

The market strategy adopted

has produced an increase of the

export and a consequently

reinforcement of TECNORD subsidiary manufacturing facilities.

Electrohydraulic and electronic products are developed

by a team of 27 Engineers (13% of total workforce)

with expertise in mechanical and hydraulics engineering,

electronics and mechatronics, whose skills are combined

and maximized with the aid of the latest computer aids:

• Design of integrated hydraulic assemblies and

components.

• Virtual product development.

• Virtual prototypes in 3D.

• Dynamic testing and simulation.

• System integration and final validation testing.

The WCM is a structured, rigorous and

Multidrom FD-5 Closed Loop Proportional Actuator

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATIONThe MLT-FD5/D electro-hydraulic proportional

actuator has been designed to shift a directional

control valve spool either directly (FL version)

or by means of a servo-piston mechanically

connected to it (SP version). The internal closed

loop position control configuration makes

the valve spool achieve the desired position

with an accuracy levels approaching the

performance of a servo-valve, by continuously

comparing the set-point of a remote control

device (Potentiometer, Joystick, Machine

Management System) with the feed-back

signal generated by the internal high-precision

hall effect position transducer.

BUILT-IN ELECTRONICSMLT-FD5-D (digital): microprocessor-based

actuator. Choice between different types of

control:

• Analog or ratiometric control signal, with

following auxiliary signals available:

- spool position feedback.

- 5V for external potentiometer or

joystick.

• CANbus control (J1939 or CANopen

protocols).

MLT-FD5-0 (on-off): 12 or 24 V version.
