Emirates Forklifts started its operation in UAE in 1985 and it is a part of Al Shola Transport Group from 2018. We are an exclusive forklift rental company in UAE and we pride ourselves in offering the best one-stop-shop materials handling solution.

We have been a leading force in the UAE forklift industry over 30 years and the quality of our service and attention to detail reflects this. Today the company is one among the largest and dedicated forklift rental companies in UAE its operations are spread all across the Emirates in UAE.

The company's overall aim is to provide top quality service package to the forklift users in rental, sales, services & spare parts requirements.

Diesel forklifts are mostly suited for outdoor environment requirements. The main reason for this is that the exhaust fumes and diesel particulates are harmful to inhale.

They are available for use in bad weather conditions and able to perform to their full potential. Diesel forklifts have a very powerful and smooth acceleration as well as being controlled at the same time.

Diesel forklifts are however more fuel efficient when compared to gas forklifts and diesel is typically cheaper than LPG. Their fuel also lasts longer in comparison to gas trucks.

Diesel trucks have greater low end torque and are suited to larger capacity machines. The inherent design of diesel engines ensures the longest service life in comparison to any other power source.

LPG powered fork lift trucks are very popular and it is economical to run both inside and outside. LPG powered trucks are generally quieter in use than diesel forklifts and their exhaust fumes are less harmful when compared with diesel fumes, allowing use of a gas forklift truck inside with good ventilation.

The performance of LPG powered trucks is usually higher than their electric or diesel powered counterparts. They offer better top travel speeds, higher rates of acceleration, and lift speeds in comparison to electric/diesel variants, partly due to their higher power to weight ratios and more responsive engines.

The service weight of LPG trucks is also generally less than their diesel mates. Vibration levels of LPG trucks at the driver’s seat are also lower than a typical diesel truck, but higher than electrics.

Electric forklift trucks are the green environmental option for materials handling. They are ideally suited to an indoor environment. They can be used outdoors for brief spells as long as the conditions are dry.

Electric trucks do not emit any fumes when in use, are almost silent in operation and offer fantastic torque similar to diesel trucks. Electric trucks are generally easier and smoother to drive when compared to the gas and diesel variants as there is no clutch or engine revving involved.

Using electric forklifts

There are a few drawbacks of using electric forklifts, for example they cannot be used while the batteries are being charged, limited run times between charging and long charge times.

The electric forklifts have a higher initial purchase cost compared to the diesel and gas ones due to the batteries and the chargers, but can pay back in running cost as they are the cheapest to run and generally cheaper to maintain with less moving parts.

Charging must however be carried out in a well ventilated as the batteries emit gasses whilst charging.

The reach truck is perfect for working in tight spaces. It is incredibly maneuverable as well as having a long range.

Ideal for warehousing use

Reach trucks are specially designed for use in warehouse environments with narrow aisles and very tall racking up to 9m. Like the electric trucks they are easy to operate and with side seated operator position offers greater visibility of the fork tips. LINDE Reach trucks are an industry leader with a host of innovative design features including steering travel compensation, which adjusts steering sensitivity automatically in relation to travel speed to avoid and sharp turns and subsequent accidents.

Reach trucks are very efficient

The LINDE reach truck range also includes the latest mast technology which makes it quiet to use. Our reach trucks are designed to keep costs to a minimum as they have high efficiency with low maintenance requirements. Reach trucks can also be used outside however they are unable to be used in the rain as they are battery electric powered. A reach truck can also be used for counter-balance forklift uses and can be fitted with attachments for lifting jobs.

What is a Pallet Truck

Pallet trucks are essentially small forklifts used to move pallets around a warehouse, from back of lorry and general running pallets around. They only raise the load enough to clear the ground so that they can be moved around. Other names for Pallet trucks include Pallet Jacks and Pump Trucks.

If your old units are giving continuous trouble, we will exchange it with new units/ can provide a rental option suitable to you.

a. New Forklifts

Advantages: New models are equipped to handle longer hours at an efficient pace whereas a used model is better for occasional use. New lifts also come with a warranty that is usually between 12 and 36 months. As a warranty may be a major deciding factor for you, it is important to do some research into what your provider offers, as used forklifts can have limited warranties.

Disadvantages: People tend to push away from purchasing a new forklift because of the higher price. Yet, new will always be the best investment if you take all other factors into consideration.

b. Used Forklifts

Advantages: First and foremost, cost savings is a major factor to consider. As previously stated, a used model can be up to 50% less. Aside from that, parts availability can be a major concern among newer models. Many used forklifts dealers offer excellent guidance when purchasing. As always the best research is first person.

Disadvantages: Just like a used vehicle, a used forklift will have visible wear and tear that a new one will not. If you choose to purchase a used forklift, make sure to get a detailed report of any previous maintenance issues. Take into consideration how long it had been used. Experts agree that if a lift will be used less than four hours a day, then its best to buy a used one.
