The ISO-9001 certification of HEXOL LUBE S.R.L. is another confirmation that we are doing our professional activities with motivation and dedication.

HISTORY In 1998, Hexol products started to be imported in Romania from the Canadian branch. The increase of sales and a good development of the Romanian market determined, in August 2001, beside the imported products, the beginning of production in Romania for motor oils, industrial lubricants, universal greases and automotive chemicals, all under the HEXOL license/brand.

In 2002, local production developed and diversified as a result of the new blending and packaging facility. In the fall of the same year, assimilating the blending technology, Hexol Lubricants increased the production of automotive (engine and transmission) and industrial oils (hydraulic, compressor, turbine, soluble, etc.).

In 2003, after the expansion of our facility, adding new blending and packaging equipment, we started production and packaging of automotive lubricants in different shapes and volumes and PET bottles, as well as special industrial lubricants - metalworking, heat transfer, sideways, etc.

Starting in 2011, our company began to sell the product range outside the Romanian borders, first in Bulgaria and in 2012 Hungary, then later Croatia.

In 2015, we created our export department, then approached and opened new markets in the Balkans, in countries like Slovenia and Serbia.

As a result of this new departments activity, today, Hexol products are available on the following markets: Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, Serbia and Slovenia.

All sales are organized through local distributors. We believe that knowing the specific of the local market, they are the ones who have the best perspective of how selling process occurs in their local market.

The potential is still huge.

The production facilities are strategically located close to the NW Romanian border, a connection point with Central and Western Europe, allowing us to have almost 10 countries at distances of under 700 km around the plant.

PRODUCTION In 2011, we started a very successful collaboration with Stihl Romania, producing private label chain oil for the Romanian market. Due to very good cooperation, in 2013, Stihl Germany approved new countries and we extended the collaboration with Stihl Greece and Stihl Hungary. We are in the process of negotiation to start packaging new products and to expand to other countries.

Today, the plant located near Oradea has a blending capacity of well over 10 000 MT of lubricants and chemicals. The facility is endowed with two bottling lines (different bottle capacities), feed regulators, labeling, ink-jet printing and shrinking foil packaging machines. Almost 50% of the blending capacity could be packaged in small volume bottles ( 0.5L - 4L ), the rest of the production being intended to accommodate large industrial packages (10L - 1 000 L).

The PET and HDPE bottles are manufactured in different customized shapes, in our own facility.

We have a good variety of packages - 0.45L, 0.5L, 0.6L, 0.9L, 1L, 3L, 4L, 5L, 10L, 20L, 60L, 208 L and 1 000L.

The chemical analysis is performed in our own laboratory, equipped with digital, high performance equipment: Canon, Tanaka, Talassi, Herschel, Koehler and Grabner instruments, quality control is done by our own specialists.

The 2015 launch of the Hexol® Standard product range marked the starting point of a more complex process of renewing Hexol®’ image and portfolio.

Due to the positive reaction and the success of the new Standard product range in 2015, on both domestic and international markets, Hexol® will continue updating and integrating all the other Hexol® products within the new company image.

This process accompanies the development of new products in the existing series and the extension of the Synline series with new premium products, levelled with the most demanding quality and performance standards of the moment.
