AHK Hamami foundedPT Trakindo Utama (Trakindo),

which became the sole authorized dealer in Indonesia for Caterpillar

heavy equipment andmachinery products.

Trakindo establisheda subsidiary, PT Sanggar

Sarana Baja, on March 19, to provide design and fabrication

services for the heavy equipment market.

PT Sumberdaya Sewatama, (SS), a subsidiary of Trakindo was established on March

27, to provide power through leasing power generators for all

kinds of projects.

PT Cipta Kridatama (CK) was established on April 8, to fulfill the

market demand for heavy machinery rental, subsequently becoming a

contractor for the mining industry.

PT Cipta Krida Bahari, a freight

branding and company logo as CKB Logistics.

PT Alfa Trans Raya was established as a subsidiary of CKB Logistics on November 28, as a shipping company

primarily serving energy-related sectors, and purchased its first ship named Alfa Trans Satu in

Makmur in August, and changed its name to PT ABM

Investama. The company then acquired majority shares in PT Sanggar Sarana Baja, PT

Sumberdaya Sewatama, PT CKB Logistics and PT Tunas Inti Abadi. Its also acquired minority shares in PT Cipta

Kridatama.

In December,PT Sumberdaya Sewatama

and PT Sanggar Sarana Bajaacquired PT Tunas Inti Abadi, a compliant coal concession located in South Kalimantan.

PT ABM Investama becomes the majority shareholders of PT Cipta

Kridatama on December 10.

PT Reswara Minergi Hartama was established on November 16, taking the position of holding company for

all coal-related business.

In December, to support PT TIA and other coal trading activities,

Reswara established a port company named PT Pelabuhan

Buana Reja (PBR) to serve the coal industry.

In November 2010, PT Sumberdaya Sewatama acquired minority shares

in PT Metaepsi Pejebe Power Generation (Meppogen), a power generation company operating in

South Sumatra.

In March, PT ABM Investama increased its equity through convertion of Mandatory Convertible Bonds equal to a value of 64,7111% ownership of PT ABM Investama by Valle Verde Ltd, a Singaporean-based company owned by The Hamami Family.

On May 23, PT Sumberdaya Sewatama (SS) established 2 new subsidiaries under the name PT Nagata Bisma Shakti (Nagata), which focuses on renewable energy, and PT Pradipa Aryasatya (Pradita) focusing on thermal energy, in line with its expansion

plan into Independent/Captive Power Plants (I/CCP).

On May 26, PT Cipta Krida Bahari (CKB Logistic) also expanded its portfolio through establishing PT Baruna Dirga Dharma

(BDD), a coal transport tug & barge service company.

On June 26, PT Sanggar Saran a Baja (SSB) established PT Prima Wiguna Parama (PWP) to manage material handling for

equipments related to energy industry.

On June 28, Reswara acquired PT Media Djaya Bersama (MDB) that operates 2 coal concessions in Aceh namely PT MIFA

Bersaudara and PT Bara Energi Lestari (BEL).

On September 21, PT Sanggar Sarana Baja (SSB) introduced its new company logo.

Reswara owns concession rights for coal mining and production through PT Tunas Inti Abadi (“TIA”) which operates in South Kalimantan and PT Media Djaya Bersama (“MDB”) which operates in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. In PT Tunas Inti Abadi (“TIA”) - South Kalimantan, we engage in the business of open cut mining of low ash, low sulphur thermal coal. TIA coal is currently marketed as “TIA Compliant Coal” that is often sought by power generation companies in both domestic and foreign markets such as India, China, Thailand and the Philippines for use as blending coal. TIA has a concession area of 2,074 hectares and estimated to have 52 million tons of coal reserves and 106 million tons of coal resources.

In December 2010, Reswara established PT Pelabuhan Buana Reja (“PBR”), a subsidiary that engages in port management and services. Its sea-port terminal located in Sebamban Baru, South Kalimantan.

In June 2011 Reswara acquired 70% of the shares in PT Media Djaya Bersama (“MDB”), who holds the exclusive mining rights over a total of 4,629 hectares concession area in the province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam under 2 subsidiaries namely of PT Bara Energi Lestari (“BEL”) and PT Mifa Bersaudara (“MIFA”). As of 30 June 2011, MDB concession area was estimated to have 169 million tonnes of coal reserves and 455 million tonnes of coal resources. Currently MDB

PT Cipta Kridatama is a major player in the coal mining services in Indonesia, having more than 10 years of experience, supported by 2,800 skilled employees and over 400 heavy equipments working with latest technology.

In the pursuit to be the forefront of the “Green Company”, CK always ensures its operations are carried out in an environmentally friendly manner through careful waste management and site rehabilitation programs in line with ISO Standards.

With a vision to be the leading Indonesian mining services provider, CK is committed to provide a safety and comprehensive mining services that deliver a real value added to our customers. With the strong market position, CK continues to be entrusted by the concession owners to explore and produce coal from several locations in Kalimantan and Sumatera.

CK’s operations are supported by a solid capital structure, comprehensive management control system and qualified motivated management team with wide experience in mining operations.

PT Cipta Kridatama (”CK”) is a subsidiary of ABM Investama that provides pit to port contract mining services to Indonesian coal producers with integrated recognize system to the highest standard.



PT Sumberdaya Sewatama (”SS”) is a subsidiary of ABM Investama with focus on providing power solutions. Established in 1992, SS is providing end-to-end power solutions on temporary power, IPP (Independent Power Provider), operational & maintenance, and dewatering.

With operations all over Indonesia, its backbone service lies on more than 1,100 skilled people with 5 branch offices and 4 depot stations to manage a good size of fleet equipment.

Its temporary power division specializes in assessment, designing and providing power for utility and non utility market. Current market served includes emergency, immediate, standby, temporary, long term and uninterrupted power generations for various industries.

SS’s dewatering division has been in the business for over 10 years, is able to provide integrated water management/dewatering in areas requiring special equipment and operational support such as those of mining industry.

From its extensive experience in operating and maintaining equipments, SS’s operation and maintenance division is highly skilled on managing equipments and now providing services in operator, power generation operation and maintenance, contract service, with strong understanding on Health, Safety and Environment.


The company is moving beyond temporary power and on its path as Independent/Captive Power Producer. In November 2010, SS successfully acquired 20% share of PT Metaepsi Pejebe Power Generation (“Meppogen”), a gas fired power producer with 80MW capacity. In 2011, SS moved on to establish two subsidiaries namely PT Pradipa Aryasatya and PT Nagata Bisma Shakti with focus on thermal and renewable power solutions respectively

SS is constantly seeking advanced, innovative, sustainable power solutions, leveraging its synergy with the group’s ability to access to coal resources, logistics and operator maintenance.


With over 30 years of historical development journey, SSB has been segmenting its services to customers who are primarily engaged in mining, oil and gas, petrochemical and power sectors. At present, SSB employs more than 2,200 dedicated engineers spread in 10 workshops and two offices in Indonesia.

Up to now, manufacturing components for heavy equipments has been its core business. This business focus still continues today, though much of the works have been carried out at the mine sites.

To manage its material handling for equipment related to energy industry, PT Prima Wiguna Parama what formed as a subsidiary in June 2011.

PT Sanggar Sarana Baja (”SSB”) is a subsidiary of ABM Investama that engages in engineering support services such as fabrication, site services, re-manufacturing, and transport equipment divisions.

Currently, SSB has diversified and operates 4 distinct divisions from 4 main factories and mine site workshop:

1. FABRICATION DIVISION Design and manufacture of process equipment,

general fabrication, site construction and installation solutions.

2. SITE SERVICES DIVISION On-site repair, process plant maintenance

and construction services.

3. RE-MANUFACTURING DIVISION Salvaging, re-manufacturing and manufacturing

of heavy equipment core components.

4. TRANSPORT EQUIPMENT DIVISION Designing, manufacturing and distributing

products for transportation and material handling business.



ABM Investama also invested in an integrated logistics services through its subsidiary, PT Cipta Krida Bahari (”CKB Logistics”). CKB Logistics’ services ranging from freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehouse management, shorebase management, project logistics, industrial shipping and coal logistics.

CKB Logistics focuses on providing services to clients operating in mining, oil and gas, heavy equipment, power generation, construction and other energy related industry that require special handling and distribution to remote areas. CKB Logistics owns two subsidiaries, namely PT Alfa Trans Raya (“ATR”), an industrial shipping company and PT Baruna Dirga Dharma (“BDD”), a coal logistics company.

As of July 2011, BDD began providing coal barging services to TIA as part of TIA’s coal logistics chain. And throughout its operation, CKB Logistics is supported by its fleets or time-chartered vessels

owned and operated by ATR, which includes a semi-container ship with 2,100 DWT capacity and six landing craft tanks with 1,400 - 2,500 DWT capacities. On top of that, CKB Logistics’ business has been supported by over 800 employees to operate sea, air and land networks through its 35 branch offices located in more than 60 cities across Indonesia.

He has worked in various positions within the Tiara Marga Trakindo Group for more than 19 years. He is currently the President Director of PT Tiara Marga Trakindo. In 2005, he was appointed the Secretary General of the China Committee of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

She obtained her Master of Business Administration in Marketing from New Hampshire College (currently Southern New Hampshire University), Manchester, United States in 1992 and Bachelor in Business Administration, University of Indonesia in 1988. She has been working in various positions within the Tiara Marga Trakindo Group for more than 10 years. She is currently served as Director at PT Tiara Marga Trakindo, President Director at PT Mahadana Dasha Utama and also President Commissioner in many affiliated companies.

He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics, University of Padjadjaran, Bandung in 1978. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Economics from Macquarie University in 1992. He has been our Corporate Support Service Director since 2009. Prior to that, he worked as a Country Manager at PT D&B (Dun & Bradstreet) Indonesia (a joint venture company between Phillip Group Singapore and D&B International), the Director of Operations at PT AXA Mandiri Financial Services, a Life Insurance Company which is part of the AXA Group. He is a Certified Financial Planner with certification from several organizations.

YOVIE PRIADI Corporate Strategy Director

He obtained his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business, San Francisco State University in 1996. He became our Corporate Strategy Director in 2011. Prior to that, he worked as President Director of PT Mitra Energi Batam and PT Dalle Energy Batam (which are members of the Medco Energi Group), Senior Vice President of Corporate Growth and Planning at PT Medco Power Indonesia, Commercial Manager and Finance & Planning Manager at PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk.

He obtained his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in 1992. He has been our President Director since 2010. For our internal management purposes, we use the sales and services information as broken down by each of the following material business operations as presented in Note 25 of our consolidated financial statements appearing elsewhere: mining contractors and coal mining, services, such as power engine rental, logistics and vessel rental and transport equipment, site and remanufacturing services, and manufacturing. Pursuant to the requirements of the Indonesian GAAP, specifically PSAK No. 5, and the IFRS, we also present our segmental report in Note 31 of our consolidated financial statements by the following segments: services, coal mining, manufacturing and others. In line with the Indonesian GAAP requirements, the segmental report in Note 31 is based on gross amounts and does not account for the elimination effect applicable to intra-group transactions on the financial information for the segments presented in Note 31. For our management purposes, including our review and assessment of the financial results and operational performance of the Group, we use the information available in Notes 25 and 26 of our consolidated financials which provides more detailed view of the results and performance of the material business operations within the Group and accounts for the elimination effect within the Group.
