SAFETY RECORD

Safety is an integral part of our culture. We passionately value our employees’ well being while also recognizing that safety is among the most important of qualifying criteria to the more sophisticated clients with whom we choose to partner. With our focus on safety, U.S. Pipeline has earned a reputation as one of the safest pipeline contractors in the business. Our safety experience modifier of 0.72 is substantially better than the industry standard and we are proud to have a lengthy record of Pipeline Contractors Association (PLCA) safety award achievement along with numerous other awards presented to us by clients. We pursue an absolute goal of causing no harm to any employee or person affected by our activities and mandate constant, comprehensive trainings of all our operational personnel toward that end.

PROJECT REFERENCES (2009-2015)

Since its inception, U.S. Pipeline has constructed over 3,500 miles of pipelines in the United States and has managed significant construction activities throughout the world. The company’s management team has over 200 years of combined experience in energy and related industries working on projects that include diversified routes in congested urban areas, rural farmlands, forests, swamps, wetlands, deserts, mountains and the coldest of environments. While U.S. Pipeline has worked predominantly on large diameter pipelines, our experience spans construction and services on pipe and related facilities of all sizes including rehabilitation and testing. U.S. Pipeline’s station group has built several grassroots compressor, pump and meter stations, including very large ones; has tremendous experience in modifications and additions to those facilities and has worked on other energy facilities as well (LNG Facilities, Storage Facilities, Terminals, etc.). Our vast experience enables us to anticipate problems and provide timely, creative and well-integrated solutions that help preserve job economics. We listen, adapt and apply our knowledge to achieve optimal results.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT

In a continued pursuit of excellence, several years ago USPL developed our own internal Quality Management System (QMS) ensure that the pipeline and facilities are built to our customer’s specifications as set out in the contract and that our work is properly documented. Our clients benefit from this program since they are under extreme scrutiny from PHMSA and the public in general. USPL implements the QMS on all projects, whether or not required by our client.

The first priority of the USPL QMS is to be sure that our construction team has the information, training and tools to do a quality job. Our field Quality Coordinator works with the client personnel to obtain, maintain and issue the most current versions of the scope of work, drawings, construction specifications and any other documents; arranges for specialized training (i.e. with coating manufactures), makes sure the equipment and tools are fit for service and in good working order and subcontractors meet our Quality requirements.

Throughout the project, our Quality Coordinator(s) completes quality audits, notes any deficiencies and works with our foremen and crew to implement corrective action as required.

The final QA/QC Documentation at the end of a project will include:

• Hydrostatic Test Plans, Reports and Logs• Document Control Forms, Transmittal Logs, etc.• Welding Procedures and Welder Test Results• Operator Qualification Paperwork (OQ)• Test Equipment Certification Paperwork• X-Ray Records (If in Scope of Work)• Jeep Calibration Records• Quality Control Audit Results, Deficiency Reports/Logs & Non-Conformance Reports/Logs• Caliper Pig Reports• Field Change Documentation (Quality Change Order)• Punch List Items• Request for Information (RFI’s)• Subcontractor Pre-Qualification Forms• …and more
