UNIVERSE LEATHER AND ACCESSORIES (ULA) is a part of ULA Groups and

companies. Going back to 1969, we have grown to second generation of Indian

company in the world of leather tanning and processing. It was originally

established by Md.Ismail, who was a tanner himself and owner of the oldest

leather Tannery in Kolkata, India.

Our team is based with an unique blend of traditional and modern , e.g. a 47

years old family business in leather tanning and an innovative fashion experts

for making the perfect leather Bags and Accessories , as per international

standard.

We are having many brand partners in Europe, who have appreciated our

manufacturing standard and their production is being carried out in our factory

OUR FACTORY:

Our factory is located in a “Leather Hub “ of Kolkata at 36/1A/1B Topsia East

Road, Kolkata- 700039 .

Total working area is 7200 sq,ft..

This factory is well equipped with all modern machineries of highly reputed

international brands, like Adler, Atom, Seiko, and Mitsubishi.

Entire in-house production, right from Splitting, Clicking, Embossing , Plating ,

Skiving, Edge coloring , hand-made fitting and stitching is offered.

SOCIAL COMPLAINCE:

We have social responsibility to our all employees. Factory is audited under

SA-8000. We take care of their medical and retirement benefits. Separate toilet

for women employees are provided. All of them work under permitted working

hours per day, approved by International Labor Organization.

We also believe in providing hygiene and safe working environment to our

employees as per international standard.

We are extremely strict about Child Labors and do not allow any Child inside our

factory.

We are passionate to preserve all things “nature” and do constantly fight

against all industrial hazards. We use most of the material, which can be

recycled and also use Jute fabrics for packing purpose,

Due to our rich production quality and business confidentiality, we offer

customized production to our customers with their own logo , embossed on

product itself.

Our own designing team are always happy to support our customers to develop

any new product design, color or leather quality.
