01 COMPANY PROFILE

SFEIR TRADING (“the Company”) was established in Lebanon in year 1977.

It started operating as a retail entity whereby its initial activities included

trading building and construction material in the Lebanese Market.

Despite significant challenges and competition in the operating marketplace,

the Company underpinned significant growth in its sales, profits and margins

and achieved record levels.

The Company expanded in its supply for the pipeline industry and currently provides a range of products including steel and ductile iron

pipes, GRP and HDPE in addition to fittings, valves and related accessories.

The Company continuously focuses on developing its clients’ database

and has penetrated into several markets by implementing new marketing

plans and tactics emphasizing on the following:

• Increase in its market share and differentiation from competitors;

• Maintaining high quality supply according to international standards;

• Employing a professional and experienced management team;

• Adopting a competitive pricing strategy; and

• Increasing its clients’ database through a focused and aggressive sales

force.

The Company’s international trades grew rapidly. It was capable of creating

an international database of EPC contractors, water corporations and oil

and gas authorities in the Middle East, GCC and West Africa to become the

exclusive representative of several global manufacturers and reliable suppliers for all offered products and services with in the pipeline, commodities and aviation industries.

In

addition,

Sfeir

Trading

is

associated

with

several

refineries pertaining

to

energy

related

commodities.



The Company’s operations are managed through its head office in the

UAE.

In addition to the Company’s growth in expanding its clients’ base, its

geographical position and its sales figures, it focuses on being a reliable

2.1 AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS

SFEIR TRADING has been in the field of exporting agricultural products for more than 30 years and has evolved into a major supplier of premium quality food products to meet the needs of international markets.

We offer a vast range of grains & cereals, as per our clients’ requirements:

• Rice – Is one of our key trading commodities. We specialize in moving this critical commodity from areas of surplus to areas where supply is unable to meet demand. We’re experienced rice suppliers of white rice, brown rice, parboiled rice, rough rice and other specialty rice products, sourced from various countries.

• Sugar - We source all sugar from the best strains of raw sugar cane in the main producing nations with very high production standards.

• Soy

bean

and

Soy

Bean

meal

– We’re

an

established

global

player

in

soy

bean for

human

consumption

and

animal

feed,

through

our

extensive

sourcing

capacity from

farm

gate

in

various

origins.

• Other

Grains

– Such

as

wheat ,

barley

and

corn

from

different

origins

into

markets

where

demand

is

not

met

by

supply

or

where

supply

is

seasonal.

2.2 METALS

Sfeir Trading has long-standing relationships

within

the

international

steel market; buying and selling globally.

We supply our customers with shredded, HMS 1& 2 used rail, steel raw making materials: iron ore, steel and finished products.

HMS 1&2 – ISRI CODES:

HMS 1 – ISRI Code 200: Heavy melting steel. Wrought iron and/or steel scrap ¼ inch or steel scrap ¼ inch and over in thickness. Individual pieces not over 60 x 24 inches (charging box size) prepared in a manner to insure compact charging.

HMS 1 – ISRI Code 201: Heavy melting steel 3 feet x 18 inches. Wrought iron or steel scrap ¼ inch over in thickness individual pieces not over 36 inches x 18 inches (charging box size) prepared in a manner to insure compact charging.

HMS 1 – ISRI Code 202: Heavy melting steel 5 feet x 18 inches . Wrought iron or steel scrap 1.4 inch and over in thickness individual pieces not over 60 inches x 18 inches ( charging box size) prepared in a manner to ensure compact charging.

2.2 METALS

HMS 2 – ISRI Code 203: Heavy melting steel. Wrought iron or steel scrap, black and

galvanized, 1/8 inch and over in thickness, charging box size to include material

not

suitable as No.1 heavy melting steel. Prepared in a manner to ensure compact charging.

HMS 2 – ISRI Code 204: Same as ISRI 203 but max size 36x18 inches.

HMS 2 – ISRI Code 205: Same as ISRI 204 but free of sheet iron or thin-gauged

material.

HMS 2 – ISRI Code 206: Same as ISRI 204, but max size 60 x 18 inches.

USED RAILS - ISRI CODE: 50-65:

The scrap consists of R50-R65 of Rails as R-50 (51.67 kg/m-GOST-7173-75), R65 (64.72 kg/m-GOST-8165-75), and Length: Fr, according to INCOTERMS-2000.

Used Rails Specification:1. R-50: 51.67 Kg/m – GOST-7173-752. R-65: 64.72 Kg/m – GOST-8165-75

Through our relationships with mines, mills and steel consumers, our customers benefit from market access and liquidity. Our scrap is of high quality and with reputable origin.

We mainly deliver the goods on C&F basis to the port that is required by clients in containers or bulk delivery however, the F.O.B delivery can be discussed if required.

We can supply raw steel materials and semi-finished steel products, such as:

• Hot Rolled Coil (HRC)/ Cold Rolled Coil (CRC) and other Flat products

• Steel billets, wide rod and rebar

• Ferrous Scrap

• Iron Ore (sinter fines, lump, pellet feed, high LOI fines, pellets, concentrates)
