Hope and Purpose

Hope and purpose are essential ingredients for living satisfying lives, achieving dreams, and embracing love—of self, one’s community, and God. Deacon Oney teaches on the importance of discovering your Divine Purpose from God and moving intoall that God has in store for you! Biblical examples are used to discuss key principles to finding and walking in your Divine Purpose!

Spiritual Warfare

Spiritual warfare is a reality in today’s world. Deacon Oney teaches using Biblical and Church Tradition foundations, about how the battle began, who the real Enemy is, and our part in the battle. Christian offensive and defensive weapons are examined; as well as, the importance of tearing down enemy strongholds in our lives. Deacon Oney clearly ends the discussion on who has already won the battle—Jesus!

Healing the Broken Hearted

One of Deacon Oney’s main missions is to speak to the hurting hearts around the world and to offer encouragement and hope. While encouraging those he teaches, he also begins to teach on the importance of focusing on God’s blessings to us and how to not focus on the negative in the world. By demonstrating how a change in our focus and thinking can lead to healing and a change of heart, Deacon Oney shares the wisdom he has gained through God’s grace and healing in his life!

Christian Family Life

It’s important to provide a place of peace for ourselves and our families in our homes, offices, cars, schools, and other areas. Deacon Oney teaches on how to achieve this by strengthening our familial bonds, dealing with issues as they arise in the proper ways, protecting our spaces, and embracing our place as a child of God, a member of our family, and as a member of the wider Body of Christ.

Angels

Deacon Oney lays out a Biblical foundation to begin the teaching on angels and their mission in our lives. Using the wisdom of the Church and the Saints, Deacon Oney closely examines angels from many avenues; including, their functions in worship, spiritual warfare, and Divine revelation. Deacon Oney teaches about the existence of angels, how they help us in our day to day lives, and how they fit into the greater Kingdom of God.

“I recently attended a Men’s Conference where Deacon Larry was the Keynote Speaker. He used his life experiences and spiritual knowledge to reach out and touch all of the guys in attendance. After the Conference he delivered a spiritually uplifting and soul searching Homily to the parishioners at the Vigil Mass. This inspired me to purchase all three books he had on sale at the Conference. I just finished reading Amazing Grace Overcoming Race, and it really impressed me how he overcame the struggles in his early life, and after receiving God’s Amazing Grace, was able to relate each negative occurrence back to a specific scripture from the Word of God. This is one of the most inspirational Christian conversion stories I’ve ever read, and I strongly encourage everyone to read the book. Also, if you ever get a chance to hear Deacon Larry speak, please don’t miss the opportunity.” - Tim Lessard, Conference Organizer

“Deacon Larry is the real thing. I have all three of his books and have listened to him in person.” - S. Casper, Amazon.com Reviewer

“ Intuitive and Instructive. Mr. Oney writes well and instructively. He gives us a birds-eye view of what it was like to be black, not all that long ago. His biblical correlations are intuitive and filled with discernment.” - S. Anderson, Amazon.com Reviewer
