Conceptual Design Domino’s pizza and Auburn University have signed an

agreement, which allows Domino’s Pizza to offer special deals to Auburn University staff.

This will be achieved via a web interface. It is planned to prepare an interface for mobile phones or PDAs if first stage becomes successful.

Two types of use : Home delivery (user should be an Auburn member –

student, staff, etc. Tailgate delivery (everybody can use)

Tailgate delivery will be the extra benefit for Domino’s pizza and it will not be limited by Auburn staff.

Conceptual Design Regular Delivery

User selects size, crust , toppings (or one of the predefined alternatives), side items and beverage

User enters name and payment information (only credit cards and Tiger Card is expected. If Tiger Card is used, user is asked to provide student id and password. Cash payment is not possible)

User address and phone number are retrieved from Auburn database. If Tiger card is used, student id-password pair is verified. If credit card is used, card number, name and expiration date triple is verified.

Address, phone number and order details are presented to the user. Order is launched if user acknowledges the order details

Conceptual Design Tailgate delivery (On campus delivery)

User marks its tailgating location on an interactive map (when user clicks at a position on the map, explanation about the location is written on the screen) and enters requested time for delivery. Furthermore, the user provides extra details to

assist in finding the exact location (tent color etc. )

User creates the order using the same interface as in regular order. Payment page is also the same. In the acknowledgement page, user is asked to provide a mobile phone number if possible

Assumptions

Auburn University allows Domino’s Pizza to query its student-staff database to retrieve address information

Map application is accurate enough to spot correct location for pizza delivery
