The secret to success is in connections. It’s not what you know or whom you know, but it’s who knows you. Let’s use an example: If Bill Gates walked into a room and you said, ‘Hey, Bill, how are you?’ that doesn’t make much of a difference. Everybody in the room probably knows Bill Gates. But it makes a lot of difference if Bill Gates yells out your name. The question is not whether you know somebody who’s a somebody, but the question is, do they know you? The fact is, anyone can claim to know somebody else. So more important than that is, does Bill Gates or an influential person that you claim to be acquainted with know you? (More importantly, what does he think about you?)

The CEH understands that the best way to kill a relationship with the affluent and wealthy is to ask financial favours. This is a relationship killer. Wealth is not in money, but in association. Wealth is a state of mind. Nurturing a healthy relationship with the successful and famous is a skill every Hustler needs to develop and equip himself with. That relationship is going to last much longer than any money they will ever give you. Above all, the access into their sphere and space can condition your mindset for success. Remember that your association is your assimilation. People divide and distinguish people in their cliques: those who ask for things and those who give. The worst thing that can ever happen is, you are classified as those who always ask. You don’t always have to give money; they already have that. A CEH assesses the needs of the successful and tries to deliver that. When a successful person’s phone rings, like with any individual, they assess what the phone call might entail, either it’s an asker or a giver! If it’s an asker, you already know what he will do!

Money and Wealth - It’s the Only Thing

Money is one of the most important subjects of your entire life. Some of life’s greatest enjoyments and most of life’s greatest disappointments stem from your decisions about money. Whether you experience great peace of mind or constant anxiety will depend on getting your finances under control. Clearly, in the present world economic system, money is not everything. Its the only thing. It is what determines most of the world’s biggest issues. The countries, people, and organizations with the money often determine what does and does not happen. The United States would not be the world’s superpower if it were not for its immense financial wealth. Africa would not be at the mercy of the developed world if it were not for its financial poverty. Africa is not poor when it comes to material and human resources. It is poor financially.

However, in your pursuit of financial success, you need to know that money is not the ultimate thing you should desire. This is because money is not usually a good motivator. It is a concept that the mind cannot easily grasp on its own. The mind understands money better in terms of what it can do for you. So focusing on making a million dollars will be less effective in motivating you than focusing on the cars, houses, free time, good education for your children, and all the other things that the million dollars will bring you.
