By CarFrom the M65 eastbound from Preston/BlackburnLeave the motorway at Junction 10, signposted Burnley. Take the
Town Centre exit off the roundabout onto Cavalry Way A679
(5th exit). Take the first exit off the next roundabout onto Westway
A679. At the traffic lights bear left. At the mini roundabout, turn
left. At the next roundabout turn left onto Princess Way. At the mini
roundabout turn left and then turn left again into the Campus.
From the M65 westbound from Colne/PendleLeave the motorway at Junction 11, signposted Burnley. Turn left
onto Princess Way. At the roundabout take the third exit and then
turn left into the campus.

By Rail Burnley benefits from three railway stations. The most convenientfor UCLan Burnley being Burnley Central, a 2 minute walk fromcampus, with both a ticket office and waiting area. Burnley Central(and Burnley Barracks) are on Northern Rails's Colne to Preston andBlackpool South line with Preston 1 hour away.
A faster service to Preston (35 minutes) operates from ManchesterRd station which is 15 minutes walk from campus. Manchester Rdstation is an unmanned station on Northern Rail's York to Prestonand Blackpool North service.www.northernrail.org
A Young Person's Railcard, offering 1/3 off travel, is available tostudents (aged 16-25) and mature students studying full time.Railcards cost £26 per year. Application forms are available from therailway station.
On Foot
From Burnley Central Railway Station (2 mins):Turn right out of the Station onto Railway Street, at the end of thestreet turn right onto Canning Street and onto Princess Way. Crossthe road, using the designated crossing, to UCLan Burnley Campus.
From Burnley Manchester Rd Railway Station (15 mins):Turn left out of station and head down Manchester Rd. Cross theroundabout at the traffic island and continue further alongManchester Rd. Turn left onto Hammerton St. at the traffic lights,leading onto Queens Lancashire Way. Cross the mini roundabout atthe traffic island onto Active Way. At the next roundabout take thefirst exit. Continue up the hill and UCLan Burnley campus entranceis on your left.
From Burnley Bus Station (15 mins):Cross the pelican crossing on Croft Street and walk into townthrough Boot Way. At the end of the street turn right onto ParkerLane, then left onto St. James Street. Follow this street through theshops until you reach the mini roundabout. Turn right and followthe road until you can safely cross at the pelican crossing. Follow thepath around the roundabout to the first exit. Continue up the hilland UCLan Burnley Campus entrance is on your left.
