‘Goldilocks at the Three Bears’Ms. Amason’s kindergarten class at Creekside Elementary School read the book ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears,’which is a part of the reading series. After reading the story the students got to choose their favorite charac-ter and made a puppet. The children use their puppets to act out the story while Ms. Amason reread the story.Shown is Ms. Amason’s class with their puppets.

Congratulations to GMC Prepeighth-grader Elizabeth Savagewho was recently recognized asa state winner in the 4-HLeadership inAction Program.
She led a com-munity serviceproject in whichshe collectedunwanted itemsfrom the resi-dents at TheCottages anddelivered theitems to theGoodwill store to make themavailable to others.
Mrs. Simons and Mrs. Johnson's class recently took a field trip to GeorgiaCollege to visit with Coach Mo Smith, head basketball coach, and members ofthe men's and women's basketball teams. The children played games, met themascot Thunder the Bobcat and got to shoot some hoops.

with finding the classes average reaction time after a 15 meter sprint inorder to determine how far the out-of-bounds line should be away fromthe wall of a new basketball court customized for their safety.

JMA class visits UGA
The JMA Class of 2011 visited UGA and toured the campus with two studentguides. They enjoyed ringing the bell, touring Miller Hall and the Tate Center.An admissions session answered questions about applications and opportuni-ties. The day ended with lunch at the Village Summit Dining Hall where sev-eral former students came by to visit with this year’s seniors.
Mrs. Bellflower’s first grader class at Midway Elementary recently tooka field trip to the Pumpkin Patch at the First United Methodist Churchin Milledgeville.
