Get Healthy, Get Happy with Lincoln Military Housing!
Featured Story
Lincoln Salutes Military SpousesOn May 11th, the nation will honor and salute military spouses for their dedication to keeping our country safe. Military spouses are our unsung heroes and are the backbone of the family through readiness, deployments, and reintegration.
The history of Military Spouse Appreciation Day started with President Ronald Reagan when he signed a Proclamation in 1984 to pay tribute to all military spouses. Military Spouse Appreciation Day is now a part of National Military Appreciation Month in May!
Lincoln Military Housing would like to say “thank you” to all our military spouses for your service, commitment, sacrifices, and most importantly your contribution to your family and this nation.
Lincoln is celebrating you on May 11th with a gift of appreciation. Lincoln Military Housing Team Members will be on every property visiting homes to say thank you with a gift. Keep an eye out for your Lincoln Staff to knock on your door!
Date: Friday, May 11thDelivery Time: Between 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM

Living Green Tips: Recycle Your E-Waste
Recycle your E-Waste during your Spring Cleaning!
Did you know that recycling one million laptop computers can save enough energy to run 3,657 U.S. homes for a year? Currently, only 15-20% of all e-waste is recycled. If you have electronics in storage, now is the time to recycle or discard them. Visit www.erecycle.org to find a drop off location near you.

Issue Resolution for ResidentsThe following steps should assist you with the resolution of an
issue should something occur in your home that causes you
dissatisfaction with Lincoln Military Housing:
1. The first step is to contact your District Office and relay the issue
to them and give them the opportunity to resolve it.
2. If the issue is not resolved to your satisfaction, contact the
District Office again and ask to speak to the District Manager. In
almost every case, the District Manager can solve the issue.
3. If the issue is still not solved after speaking to the District
Manager, call the Lincoln General Management Office (GMO) at
858-874-8100, and ask to speak to the Regional Property Manager
for your specific district.
4. In the unlikely event that the Regional Property Manager cannot
satisfy your request, contact the GMO again and ask for the
Regional Vice President of Lincoln Military Housing.
5. At this point, if the issue still remains, you will need to contact
a Navy Supervisor. For El Centro Housing, contact the Housing
Director at 760-339-2920.
Marijuana Usage Not Allowed in HousingLincoln Military Housing complies with the federal Controlled
Substance Act (CSA) which prohibits the use, possession, and
distribution of illegal drugs. Even though the recreational use of
marijuana is permitted in the state of California, it is not allowed
anywhere in housing. Additionally, marijuana is not allowed even for
medical use. The federal CSA categorizes marijuana as a Schedule 1
substance, and therefore it is a violation of federal law to use, be in
possession of, grow, or distribute it anywhere on federal property,
which include housing areas.
