Community Modeling: Making your Big Ideas Happen
An Earth system model such as the Community Earth System Model (CESM)provides an opportunity to test hypotheses about processes and their potentialrole in the Arctic climate system. The Polar Climate Working Group (PCWG) hasresources, through the PCWG liaisons, to assist with access to community modelsimulations. The liaisons can also provide support for new experiments and helpfacilitate parameterization development. We also provide post-processing packagesand help with analyzing the model output. Additionally, there are computingresources available through the PCWG to perform model simulations and analysis. Finally, there are training opportunities through the CESM Tutorial for the nextgeneration of Arctic scientists.
