Waste source separation was not well-performed Many households have changed their

attitude but not their behavior.

Behavior changes take time

Community’s participation and contribution is limited

1. Advocate for policy changes

2. Promote and encourage community’s self-reliance

3. Link the project with the current CDF activities in the community

SUGGESTIONS The model is feasible and appropriate for

small community in suburb/suburban area of the cities

It is the cost and environment effective solutions

The model is highly recommended for replication .

It is replicated in 3 places (cities) in Viet Nam

Promote Community Participation & Self Management by Creating of Community Development Funds (CDF)

Empowerment = control over money Participation = power to make decision
