COMMUNITY BAPTIST MISSIONARIES 2016
PRAYER LIST - SPRING
Brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified even as it
is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have
not faith. II Thessalonians 3:1,2
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all
making request with joy! Philippians 1:3,4
Agamalian, Tigran & Lena- Russia [email protected]
First of all, we want to thank everyone who was praying for our
son, Michael, and the situation with his military obligations in
Russia. The matter is 95% resolved, as he is enrolled in another
high school here in Moscow, which gives him a postponement for a
year. At some point within the next month or so, there will be final
decision issued by the draft committee, so please pray that they
would not complicate the matter and give Michael the needed
postponement. Finally, our ministry partner, brother Ron, is
leaving for 2 months for his visa and other responsibilities. Later, his son, Joel, who is serving with
us is going to be gone for his scheduled furlough. So please pray for ability to carry on with all the
aspects of the ministry, including music, Bible strides and, of course, preaching.

Blackfeet Indian Reservation. Please continue to pray for us and our
people. Pray that we will “cleave to the Lord our God” and love Him
with all our heart, soul and mind. Our adversary is always lurking,
seeking to destroy and devour.

missionary to the mountains here in Peru. She's finished seminary
and is now going to visit churches to raise support for this missionary
endeavor. She would like to leave this coming March. Please pray for

down to help me install the plumbing and electricity in the

2. I would also appreciate your prayers for a young man named
Ipa (or Darryl) with whom I am currently having evangelistic
Bible studies. He has attended our church on/off for MANY
years, and did make a profession of faith five-six years
ago. However, when he recently asked me about
getting baptized, I talked with him once again to be sure he
was “clear” on salvation. He does NOT feel that he really
understood what he was doing when he made his previous profession, so please pray that he will
have a clear understanding of salvation now.
3. Kim has been pleased that a few of her “Friday only” teen girls have recently begun attending Sunday
school. Once again, they come from various religious backgrounds. Please pray that the Lord will bring a true
conviction of sin into their hearts, and that they will desire to

* Pray for EBC and us as the church transitions from a missionary pastor to a national pastor and a church planting vision begins to emerge. * For EABST as we start a new school year with a LOT to do. Pray for our new students. *Pray for us as we lay the foundation from which many church planters and church leaders will spring forth.
* We have been grateful, for a substantial increase in applying students at EABST in 2016. * Pray for us that we and our team will stay on mission in 2016 and beyond. * Pray for EBC as we seek to fully establish the church and the new national pastor, Ken Mbugua. * Pray for our Proclaim Conference - a Kenya-wide conference on expositional preaching - that is quickly coming our way in late May. We are organizing and preparing many things for it. * Pray for the people of South Sudan. The people are sick and tired of war. The African proverb about the fighting elephants (i.e. leaders) only trampling the grass underneath their feet is very much felt by the common people of South Sudan. Our Mission: We seek to fully establish churches for the glory of God by evangelizing the lost, equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, and entrusting the Word to faithful disciples. Daughters: Karis, Faith and Makayla
Hunt, Phil & Lori- Zambia [email protected]
Children : Cherith, Austin, Collin, Ashlyn, Carman,
Tamaryn, Corban..
Those of us ministering on the ground in Zambia are
constantly amazed at what God is doing at Central Africa
Baptist College & Seminary! The ministry of Central
Africa Baptist College & Seminary is a ministry that is
made possible by the prayerful support of mission-minded
churches. We need your continued support in 2016. We also
ask God to raise up many additional partners to help us train the next generation of Servant-
Leaders in Africa for Great Commission living.
Hutchins, Jon & Patty-Brazil [email protected]
We are thankful for God’s continued work at Igreja
Batista Esperança over the past few months. God is
raising up elders and deacons from within the flock that
have great potential to lead the church onward and
upward. We are especially excited about Maicon’s
growth as a pastor. Over the past 5 years he has proven
his calling to pastoral ministry, especially the ministry
of the Word.
Johnson, Dr. Tom and Anna- Cambodia [email protected]
1. Please pray for Jason and Leigha Carpenter, who have
just newly joined us to serve here, as they begin
language study. They will also need prayer as they will
be entrusted with overseeing the work while our family
take a time of furlough starting the end of December.

church's neighborhood. We've seen several decisions for
Christ.
3. Pray for 10 of our young people from some of our different churches who will start attending our
co-worker's Cambodia Baptist College.
4. Our Streams in the Desert NGO (a ministry of our International Baptist Church in Phnom Penh)
has had a door opened to us by the Ministry of Health to go into every province with our team of
medical personnel and our evangelists. We have discovered endemic goiters with almost epidemic
proportions and have alerted the Ministry of Health of this need. We praise the Lord for this open
door and ask for wisdom as we go forward in this work.
5. A personal request would be to please pray for Anna's mother, Nancy Ramirez. She has a leaking
Abdominal Aortic Aneurism which because of her declining health they are unable to repair. She
has faith in Christ, but needs prayer for peace not to be thinking about it all the time.

Connect with Chiesa Biblica Battista di Grosseto on FB
https://www.facebook.com/Italy4Christ
Gaetana (Stompanato) Maietta – On September 3, 2015, the
day of her 78th birthday, Gaetana finally met her loving Savior
face-to-face. Easter Sunday morning, 1968, was the first time
Gaetana had ever been to a Bible-preaching church. On that
morning, with her three small children (Daniel, Susie and
Lisa), as she sat inchurch in Melrose Park, Illinois, Pastor John
Marchese preached and Gaetana received Jesus Christ The
history of Chiesa Biblica Battista di Grosseto can undoubtedly
be traced back to 1986, when Gaetana moved back to Italy after
having lived in Chicago for many years. A deep desire to see a
Bible-preaching church planted in Grosseto, led her to witness to lost folks around her and pray that God
would send a pastor/missionary. Several folks were saved over the years, and many missionaries labored to
help get the church started there. In 2006, the Lord led us to Grosseto, and He used these verses to confirm
in our hearts His leading: “Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by
constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God's heritage,
but being ensamples to the flock" (1Peter 5:2-3).
Markle, Jeremy and Laura- Puerto Rico [email protected]
Jeremiah-13 (6/20/02)
Juliana-10 (6/27/05)
Joshua-6 (1/27/10)
We are currently holding 5-6 personal Bible studies/counseling sessions,
teaching at the college (Youth Ministry),and teaching/preaching 4
services each week. We are very thankful for the fruit God is producing,
but we are praying for wisdom and laborers for the work while the fruit is
ripe and before it is lost. Thankfully, Ray, a young man needing
counseling, accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and is hungry to
grow. Christian is facing some personal struggles and needs
prayer. Maggie has been meeting with Laura and me, and has been doing
well, but just got a full-time job which could distract her. Maritza has
asked for church membership, but while meeting with her we have found that she has never been taught God's Word
and has many good questions. Mandy has also gotten a job and he also needs continued prayer to stay faithful in his
dedication to the Lord and testimony to his family. In spite of our busy weekly schedule, church attendance has been
very low lately, so please pray that our people see the need to be faithful to services. The island is facing extreme
economic problems and they are affecting our people and other ministries on the island. As a family we are doing
well. With our busy schedule, Laura and I are both tired and having some back trouble. We also have some
construction projects that must be continued on the building which can affect our energy and back pain.
Melton, Pat & Wanda-Japan [email protected]
1). Jennie and Beverly two young ladies from the Philippines came to Japan
several months ago. They started working at the cleaners I sometimes take
my cleaning. The Lady at the counter asked if I were the “priest” in the Oga
area of our city, I responded, “No, but I’m presently the missionary pastor
there”. She replied, “good” the two young ladies mentioned above wanted me
to pray with them, then hurried to the press room and brought forward. I
introduced myself then we moved away from the busy cash register. We
bowed our heads and I prayed for them. I invited them to attend our church
services. The next Wednesday, their day off work the proprietor brought
them to prayer meeting. We invited them to have the evening meal every
Wednesdays with us. One evening my wife engaged them in a Bible conversation. When they became
more interested I showed them salvation passages, their interested continued until I asked them if
they would like to trust Jesus Christ as personal Savior. Jennie immediately responded in the
affirmative, but Beverly hesitated. Jennie prayed to receive Jesus Christ as her personal Savior.
She started reading a chapter from the Bible daily and growing steadily. We talked to Beverly
several times and finally their last Wednesday at church I Beverly said she had trusted Jesus
Christ as her Savior. Those two young ladies are back in Cebu in the Philippines. Please pray for
them that they will grow, read the Bible and follow the Lord, be a witness to their Catholic family
and friends.
2). I am presently writing an evangelist tract, in Japanese for Japanese in Japan for mass
distribution. I need to finalize it, get it proof read by Japanese pastors, get it to a printing
company and order several thousand. Please pray each step the Holy Spirit will guide and direct.
Our church presently has funds enough to print several thousand.
3). I received a thousand tracts I ordered last week to start daily tract distribution, but it
has been very cold recently for me to get out on my motor bike, please pray I’ll be able to get back
to house to house tract distribution putting a gospel tract in individual Japanese mail boxes and
inviting people to our church services.
4). Please pray for Mrs. Hara’s family members that “seem” to be saved but inactive in
church attendance.
5). Please pray for Mr. Takasugi who attends our church at least once a month, although not
saved still shows interest.

unable to attend our church services because of her half paralyzed condition.
Please give our warm regards to the Saints at Community Baptist Church with a huge thank
you for their participation in our ministry here in Japan by way of prayer and monthly support

We praise the Lord that we were able to send our permanent residence visa application to the UK
immigration officials today. Through the generous gifts of several supporting churches, the Lord
provided the amount needed for the application fees. We have also been able to send it in before
Olivia turns 18. That should allow her to obtain permanent residency status as well. Please
continue to pray for the processing of the application. The whole visa process can take up to six
months but we hope to receive our approved visas by February or March. Our many thanks go to
those of you who have prayed and g iven to meet this need. This visa will allow us to continue the
