PostClick: Students will be involved with PostClick, Australia’s leading site representation firm. PC offers media

agencies and advertisers innovative, fully-optimized business solutions. PostClick creates solutions for marketers,

It is incorporated in Ecuador, and provides services to a variety of clients in the corporate sector nationwide. Interns will be assigned to the business department and work under the supervision of a business manager.

England: London

Illuminations Media: Illuminations specializes in Broadcast, publishing (dvds,

streaming and educational licensing) and also produces media for museums and

cultural organisations. Interns have produced and published media about the arts

and performance.

Burrell Architects: Students have worked closely with Burrell Architects and urban

designers, which has been in practice for over 25 years and work primarily on Arts

and Media buildings, urban Design and Master planning, Urban Regeneration,

Education and Residential Projects.

London Newspaper Group: Students will perform all tasks expected of journalists working on a local newspaper

news desk: typing letters, photocopying, answering telephones, interviewing people in the street, helping

reporters research articles, as well as have the chance to write their own stories.

Athena Medical PR: The primary role of the intern is to provide general support to the PR account teams and to

assist with the implementation of program activities. Other tasks will include things such as ensuring deadlines on

specific activities are met, that the project team is updated as required with the status of projects, project

managing logistics for events, preparing timelines, providing input for creative proposals; helping with creative

development and design of client materials, attendance at media events and physician events, and writing

meeting reports.

L C : The Cinémathèque Française holds one of the largest archives of films, movie documents and film-related objects in the world. Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with curators and staff.

Studio Magazine: An Illustrated Magazine of Fine and Applied Art is an illustrated fine arts and decorative arts magazine, first published in Britain in April 1893, which exerts a major influence on the development of the Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts movements.

Jean-Charles de Castelbajac: Students will get field experience in the world of fashion, working in the enterprise of fashion mogul Castelbajac.

We assist interns with a strong interest in writing work directly with editors at the paper to generate stories of interest that are fit for print.

Public Relations: Interns will either be placed directly with a high profile public relations firm whose sole duties are to manage public perception of the company that hires it or in the PR department of a specific business or special interest group. Web Design: Interns are assigned to design, update, and market the company or NGO’s existing web site and web presence. Mary Crotty PR: Mary Crotty PR is a full service communications consultancy based in Dublin that specializes a variety of fields. The intern’s duties will include general admin, research and brainstorming with PR ideas and assisting professional staff with events managements.

Irish Institute of European Affairs: The Institute is an independent policy research think-tank base and provides members with in-depth analysis of EU and international developments and their implications for Ireland and Europe. The

intern may work on research around the Common Security Policy and US/EU relations and would conduct research as well as media monitoring. As the Institute regularly holds events and hosts distinguished guests, the intern will also have the opportunity to help with these activities.

Italy: Florence

Cadini: Students will work at Cadini, a fashion enterprise recognized for its timeless and elegant menswear. Past interns have helped with preparation of samples, selecting and creating color charts, giving general assistance to other employees,

helping with counting and assembling of storage items and with organization of photos and archives.

GANZO: Students will be involved in the production of the online magazine and social site, GANZO, a product of APICIUS the International School of Hospitality and FUA Florence University of the Arts.

New Zealand: Wellington

Sample Placements: Visit our Website for more information Film and Television Production Studio: Students will be involved in production at this one-stop production house that delivers from concept to completion for film & television production including TV documentaries, short films, music videos and current affairs productions. Community Radio: Students will work in this multi-cultural radio station currently broadcasted in more than 120 different programs each month, in over 30 languages. Past interns have produced a photographic and audio documentary about the station, assisted with promotions around street carnivals and public events, and researched & presented a show.

Wellington Book Publication: Students will gain experience in publication, working at a company that produces most of Wellington’s community newspapers, with each newspaper firmly focused on its niche market. Past interns have been involved in news sourcing, interviewing, news writing, photography, layout and design.

Spain: Barcelona

Past interns have worked closely with the office manager to do the PNL count every month and analyze the data, use sales analysis, stock selection, support and design the website, brochures and other marketing tasks as well as competitor research.

Barcelona Metropolitan: Students will work in this media production group, established to help English-speaking foreigners living in Barcelona and Catalunya through quality publications designed to inform and entertain.

Metropolitan Magazine: Past interns have worked with businesses in Barcelona who cater to the international community and provide many different options to promote their organization through the magazine, website, business directory, weekly e-newsletter and monthly reader parties.
