THESSALONIANS
…walking in the light of the Last
Days!
Communicating
(2Th 1:11-12) Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with
power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him,
according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I. Praying that God would be
SATISFIED in us
(2Th 1:11-12) Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure
of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ
may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord
Jesus Christ.
(Col 1:9-10) For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled
with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing,
being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
(1Th 2:10-12) Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably
we behaved ourselves among you that believe: As ye know how we exhorted and
comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children, That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you
unto his kingdom and glory.
(1Pe 1:15-16) But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in
all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I
am holy.
(Eph 4:1-3) I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of
the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with
longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the
Spirit in the bond of peace.
(1Th 4:1-4) Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk
and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification
and honour;

II. Praying for God’s SELF DESIRE to be
fulfilled in us.
(Eph 5:15) See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
(Eph 5:16) Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
(Eph 5:17) Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
(1Jn 5:14) And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing
according to his will, he heareth us:
(Jos 7:10-11) And the LORD said unto Joshua, Get thee up; wherefore liest thou thus upon thy face? Israel hath
sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the
accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.

(1Th 1:3) Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour
of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and
our Father;
(Eph 2:8-10) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it
is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we
should walk in them.
(2Ti 3:5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power
thereof: from such turn away.
(Eph 6:18-19) Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and
watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all
saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my
mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

(2Th 1:11-12) Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with
power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him,
according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
(Rev 4:11) Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy
pleasure they are and were created.
(Joh 12:23-28) And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except
a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he
that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant
be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. Father, glorify thy name. Then came
there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
(Joh 13:31) Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is
glorified in him.
(Joh 13:32) If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify
him.

(2Th 1:11-12) Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with
power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him,

(2Co 12:7) And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted
above measure.
(2Co 12:8) For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
(2Co 12:9) And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly
therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
