Status of Field Activities

Activities in support of Operational Priority 18a:• The University of Florida and Economic RSF hosted two workshops with academic,

federal/state agencies, and representatives of the agriculture/timber and aquaculture industries. IRC opportunities identified include: assistance with disaster preparation, development of a simplified application for a short-term, no-interest loan, and assistance with resilient long-term planning.

• Housing RSF Field Coordinator offered advice and assistance to the Gulf County economic director regarding options for long-term, permanent and interim workforce housing including the consideration of a Community Land Trust to facilitate housing affordability in perpetuity.
