Our heart, blood and blood vessels may suffer from cardiovascular ailments.
CONGENITAL HEART DISEASE
It is an inherited disorder. It is a malfunction of the heart that causes abnormal flow of blood.
SYMPTOMS:Excessive sweatingExtreme tiredness and fatiguePoor feedingRapid heartbeatRapid breathingShortness of breathChest painA blue tinge to the skin (cyanosis)Clubbed fingernails
RHEUMATIC HEART DISEASE
It is a possible consequence of rheumatic fever.
SYMPTOMS:
Chest pain or swelling
Joint paininflammation
HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE
It is sometimes called hypertension, happens when the force pushing against the walls of the arteries as the heart pumps blood is too high.
SYMPTOMS:
DizzinessFrequent headacheRinging in the earspalpitation
LEUKEMIA
It is developed when there is an excessive production of abnormal white blood cells.
SYMPTOMS:
FatigueEasy bruisingBleeding gumsPalenessHeadacheNight sweatsVomiting
ANEMIA
It is characterized by a decrease in the number of red blood cells as a result of a severe haemorrhage
SYMPTOMS:extreme fatiguePale skinWeaknessShortness of breathChest painFrequent infectionsHeadachedizziness
