Reece Mechan Radio show evaluation Commercial Radio Music I think that the music we chose for our commercial radio show was good because the type of commercial show we chose to do was a rock show. The songs we chose to use for the show fit into the rock genre. As a result of this I think that we met our target audience’s needs. The target audience for our hour long show was people who like rock music. When we had our focus group in class we played our show and the music choices was one of the positives the group came up with. I think the reason why the music choices was good is because Kendell is a fan of rock music and would have been part of the target audience so we just based the show on what she would like to hear on the radio show and what applies to her. Presenting The presenting side of the radio show was a mixture of good and bad. The good parts of our presenting technique is that the conversation just flowed and we didn’t pause we just kept on speaking. This is good because if you’re struggling to make conversation with the co- presenter I think the listeners could tell and it doesn’t sound good and sounds forced and less like you’re doing it for fun which is important. The only negative point to our presenting was that during our ten minute talk section we didn’t stay on topic. I think we should have spoken about other things that have the same target audience as us. Instead we spoke about Beyoncé and celebrity big brother I don’t think this was good because they are not aimed at the same audience the radio show was aimed at. Technical We didn’t have any trouble with the soundboard. This showed because our songs and jingles faded into each other. As a result of this it made our radio show seem high standard.

We didn’t have any trouble with the soundboard. This showed because our songs and jingles faded into each other. As a result of this it made our radio show seem high standard.
