Limited Labour and Membrane
Warranty (L&M)
This limited warranty is applicable to
commercial systems installed by an
IKO Registered Roofing Contractor
on commercial / industrial buildings.
The L&M is not pro-rated and covers
manufacturing defects resulting in
roof leaks and has a non-prorated
labour inclusion for IKO to pay for the
repair / replacement of the defective
material. To obtain an L&M warranty the
contractor must be an IKO Registered
Roofing Contractor and possess current
liability insurance. The contractor
should completely fill-out the limited
warranty application and submit it to
IKO Technical Services / Commercial
Warranties for processing.

Diamond Shield Limited Warranty
The Diamond Shield Limited Warranty
is applicable to commercial systems
installed on a commercial / industrial
building by an IKO Registered Roofing
Contractor with current liability
insurance. The Diamond Shield Warranty
is not pro-rated and covers repair or
replacement of the IKO commercial /
industrial roofing products without
cost to the Owner. Please refer to the
Diamond Shield Limited Warranty or
contact your local IKO representative
for information on the supporting
documentation required for warranty
issuance. A Diamond Shield Limited
Warranty is assessed a fee based on
roof size and warranty term requested.

Diamond Shield Limited Warranty for
further information.
Note: The coverage is not prorated. (reference Canadian Commercial & Industrial Limited Warranty
Chart for details) The Diamond Shield application should be sent to IKO at least two weeks prior to
job commencement and include a copy of the roof schematic, roof details (flashings, penetrations etc.)
and written specification to ensure that the proposed system complies with IKO requirements.

IKO offers a range of commercial roofing warranties from pro-rated Limited Material Warranties
to Diamond Shield Limited Warranties which cover materials and workmanship.
Regarding the Limited Material Warranty coverage, the contractor does not need to be registered
or approved in any way by IKO. The warranty is issued through dealers, and only requires the
contractor’s signature to be valid.
The Limited Labour and Membrane Warranty and the Diamond Shield Limited Warranty require
the contractor’s company be an IKO Registered Roofer. Information on registration procedures
and required training programs can be obtained from your roofing products distributor, or your
IKO Representative.

information and processing details for the level of warranty
coverage you require.
