• Manpower: – Shiphandling instructors are under a new contract as of 01 Oct
– SWOS provides curriculum and instructor standardization
– Training will be consistent across the NSS continuum
• Training Requirements under SFTM:– 40 hours basic shiphandling (annually)
– 28 hours special evolutions (annually)
– Bridge Resource Management (once per cycle)
• Equipment:– Currently two separate systems
– Conducted a Business Case Analysis to neck down to one
