3. Purpose:I want to show based on empirical researches and actual classroom practices from documented testimonies that the traditional code-mixing and code-switching which was viewed as negative phenomena in English language teaching is in fact not detrimental to English language proficiency but may be used as a scaffold for faster target language acquisition and that this traditional negative view is decontextualized analysis at best and politically motivated at worst from monolingual language speakers viewpoint. I will show that the advantages of pro outweight the disadvantages given by the con-side.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________4. Do NOT choose the example topic otherwise ALL of you would have the same topic; besides, that is MY position paper.
If you have any questions about this requirement and other matters related to the final paper, DONT go to each other, rather ASK ME via text or personal appointment (do not email me unless you TEXT 1st)
