Barry’s Handy Work

Barry works very hard around our school, always going above and beyond.

Thank you Barry , especially for all the extra fun things you do.

5/6MS

Term 2 and 5/6MS has settled quickly into class routines and

learning.

This week MS students were learning about the different parts

that need to go into writing a persuasive paragraph.

Using the OREO process, students have begun to understand

how a paragraph is formed and what they need to include.

It was also made fun when completing an OREO paragraph

students got to enjoy a real Oreo

In Science we have been learning about the power of light. We have been involved in a range of experiments including making shadow puppets and investigating materials that are transparent, translucent and opaque. Next, we are going to learn how light can bounce.

KID’S CORNER

Welcome back to issue 4 of kid’s corner. Congratulations to the cross country winners that made it to district this year. Good luck at Gunning. Special shout out to Mrs Armour for running a sewing club and Mrs Nelson for chess club. The students have enjoyed learning new skills at lunchtime. Mr O’Mara has been working hard on the new garden area near kindergarten. It looks amazing. Berinba has had a couple of new students. Welcome to Mia and Josh.
