Me and my school are so lucky that we are part of the Comenius project!
The project gives students opportunities for learning outside the
classroom.
I love to travel and have traveled alot! However, Comenius provides you
a chance to live with another family in another country.
I learn by traveling! I'm learning about the different climates, politics and
ethics in different cultures. The English language and communication
abilitiesare being developed.
Food, history, way of life and everything else that is different from home.
It is an experience of a lifetime and new friendships are attached!
In February it was Norway's turn to host. I had a visit from a girl that I
quickly got a good relationship with. I learned a lot from her and she
learned from me. I also became good friendswith students from the other
countries. The students came from Poland, Greece, Italy, the United
Kingdom, Denmark and Norway. They were here for one week. In the
beginning most of the pupils were unsure of their English, but after a
short time everyone was comfortable about themselves and their
English. That is some of the things that are so great with Comenius!
Each day had a new activityand each day was new. The teachers had
created a fun and educational programs. During the stay of the guests
here in Norway, I learned a lot! I learned from students from other
countries, and also new things about my own country.

Not everyone is as good in English but to interact and understand each
other was never a problem.
Some even fell in love!
I am very happy that this project exists and that I have had the chance to
take part in it! I feel I've learned a lot and that I've grown as a person and
become tougher when it comes to taking chances, speak English and
meet new people.
The girl that stayed with metold me what it was like for her to come to a
new country like Norway and what it was like to travel away from home in
this project. I've been so lucky that now it's my turn to leave Norway to go
on what I believe is going to be a real nice trip! It will be exciting to
experience a new country, new food and new friends.
This is the last trip for Norway, and it is very sad becauseit is a wonderful
project and us students get so much out of it then regular teaching, and
not least memory for life!
