DESCRIPTION
MDS designed and supplied the piping and support structures for a Combustion Sector Rig system, including the registration of the existing UK Sector Rig Vessel with the Technical Standards and Safety Authority in the province of Ontario, Canada.
The RB211 was the world’s first gas turbine to offer Dry Low Emission (DLE) environmental benefits.
SCOPE OF WORK
‣ Piping system, including inlet and discharge sections to mate to the Combustion Rig and the facility;
‣ Exhaust section with integral water spray system to quench exhaust gases;
‣ Support structure for the rig unit/piping system; and
‣ Registration with the Technical Standard Safety Authority (TSSA) in Ontario for the existing sector rig unit and new piping system.
