Raster File Annotation As part of an assignment I was required to discuss, explain and provide written and visual examples of the files; Raster, Vector, Meta and File extension.

This is a print screen that has been taken from the PowerPoint I created based on Raster Files. As you can see I have provided descriptive information on the file with providing a visual example. This would be secondary and primary research. The reason why its both is due to the text, this was research throughout internet search engines and the image being an example from my own produced work.

The strengths of this section would be that the examples I provided where very clear which a strong understanding when providing an explanation. My weakness however would be that I think I could have provided some more general information on the file.

Overall annotation on the file formats

In terms of the text used throughout every slide, they were all primary sources as I did not use the internet to add on any extra information etc.

There was however some images used which were taken from the internet making it become a secondary source. In regard's to primary research I did use images from my own work to help support the information as well as the image from the internet.

The strengths of providing various research methods such as primary and secondary all helped support the information I provided. It also allowed the client to see look at the files in different aspects and judgments.

Overall annotation The reason for this project was to discuss on the standing aspects, such as; representation, race, gender, sexuality, connotations, credibility, readability, alternate readings and social and cultural awareness. I included various examples, dependant on the subject, some may be my own others may be sourced from the internet. When I have describe the certain aspects, for example, gender, I provided examples from my own work then examples from the internet based in a media format. This was the same scenario when publishing my images. The strengths I had when doing this report was that I provided numerous examples helping to support my standing information. However I think the information I provided was quite vague and could have been more detailed if I research the independent topic. Some of the images that were used were taken from the internet making it become a secondary source. In regard's to primary research I did use images from my own work to help support the information as well as the image from the internet. The text used was combined with primary sources, and secondary sources which I had taken from certain websites. This makes it overall combined, primary and secondary research.
