Research has shown that organic milk
has more antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids,
and vitamins than non-organic milk. The

organic milk cows are pasture-grazed, which
results in the better quality of milk.
Organic Tomatoes
Organic tomatoes are produced in an
environment that has a lower nutrient supply since
nitrogen-rich chemical fertilizers are not added.
This leads to an excessive formation of
antioxidants. There is proof that there is some
pesticide and fertilizer contamination in non-
organic food.
Antioxidant Capacity
It has been proven that antioxidants have
more of an impact on the body when they come
from organic foods. This is due to the fact that
chemicals are not negatively interacting with the
vitamins and minerals.
DID YOU KNOW? The way food is grown makes up 83%
of the over all carbon footprint of
food. Organically grown food is a
better choice for the climate.

Pesticide Reduction
Non-organic foods contain the presence
of pesticides, which are composed of powerful
chemicals like organophosphorus. More than
80% this material in the human body comes
from eating pesticide-coated foods. This is why
many people choose to go organic. Organic
foods are healthy and leave people unaffected
by toxins.
Heart Health
The antioxidants found in organic food
help in reducing heart disease and the chances
of developing cancer. The increased amount of
time grazing on the grass increases the
2
amounts of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA).
CLA is a heart-healthy fatty acid that can boost
cardiovascular protection.
Better Taste
Organic food is often sold locally,
resulting in the availability of fresh produce.
Fresh produce tastes better than produce that
has been frozen, shipped, and transported
across long distances. It is believed that
organic food tastes better because it is
produced by organic means of production.
Environmentally Safe Unlike non-organic foods, organic
production of food does not use harmful
chemicals in their farming techniques. Organic
farming requires minimal soil, air, and water
pollution; thus ensuring a safer and healthier
world for future generations to live in.
