APPLICATION FOR DEMONSTRATION / PARTICIPATION GAME SPACE DATES: Saturday September 8th / Sunday September 9th Please complete the section below if you wish to mount a demonstration or participation wargame at COLOURS. It is essential that we know the minimum size of table you require and the maximum size it would be possible for you to use (refer to accompanying notes), and also which day of the show (both days if appropriate) you wish to put on the game. Should you require an electricity supply, we will endeavour to provide a source of power, but cannot guarantee to do so. If you are familiar with the venue, indicate your preference of site, we will accommodate this if we can. We normally supply up to 4 passes for participants. Club displays are eligible to win either the WARGAMES ILLUSTRATED TROPHY for the best demonstration game OR the MINIATURE WARGAMES TROPHY for the best participation game (both trophies are accompanied by a cash prize of £50). Your description of the game may be used as the basis of a programme entry. Please return the form by 1 st June at the latest. We will try to fit as many applicants in as possible. In the case of excess demand, preference will be given to participation type games, to organisations mounting displays on both days and to those clubs which are known to have mounted good displays at previous shows, otherwise on a first come first served basis, subject to availability of tables of appropriate size, and the maintenance of a reasonable balance of themes in the games at Colours. We will endeavour to notify you of the outcome of your application by 31 st July. Brief Description (state period and scale) Modern/Sci Fi 28mm. A underground complex has been discovered and several nations have sent teams to recover any items of interest. However, there is something hiding in the shadows that is not keen to let these intruders go.
