Colorsof Cathy

Have you ever captured a rainbow shining after the rain? Have you ever seen a colorwheel spinning and combining the different wonderful colors it has? Have you ever seen the sky as the sun sets? Do you know what they have in common? They exhibit and magnify colors. Color, as our high school teachers tell it, is derived from the spectrum of light interacting in the eye with the spectral sensitivities of the light receptors. So, you ask, what does that mean? I HONESTLY have no idea. As far as I know (and you may know this as well), color is basically red, or-ange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet (ROYGBIV), plus black and white, plus their light and dark versions.

After two paragraphs, why am I talking about colors and what does it have to do with you? For some reason, there is something special with the colors yellow, red, blue, green and pink. It is because these colors resonate you! How? This is how:

Yellow - BUBBLY. ALIVE. HAPPY. You enjoy living your life as you are and it doesn’t stop there because you joy with others with your humor and laughter. You just know how to tickle the hearts of your friends and family without you knowing it at times and naturally light up the atmo-sphere of a room. You know how to put the fun in life. You love to smile and laugh , and that just make you beautiful!

Red - PASSIONATE. LOVING. AGGRESSIVE. You are clueless in how much audience you are inspiring with pas-sion in everything you do. May it be love or leadership, your aggressiveness in reaching your goal and fulfilling your vi-sion is beyond anyone’s comprehension, and this aggressive-ness pushes you to be more than the cathy you know. The love that you extend to your friends and family is contagious that anyone would be forever grateful to have it. You are one passionate lady who is ready to fight for your loved ones and fight for your one and only beloved.

Blue - CARING. COOL. FRIENDLY. Approachable, so-ciable and open. You embody and take witness to the saying that the world is, indeed, small. I believe if you are placed in a room without no one to talk with, you will go mad because your character would NEVER ever fit into that category. On the other hand, if you are situated in a room filled with peo-ple, I just know that you will conquer that room and go wild with your new-found friends.

Green - ON THE GO. FRESH. GROWTH. If you would only be the one to decide (of course, expenses paid), you will always be on the go in whatever adventure, place or site there is in store for you. There is never a time that you never desire to grow...socially, mentally, in leadership and liter-ally (?) Even if crazy times and pressure in events strike you hard, you never forget to look fresh and filled with life.

Pink - FEMININE. BEAUTY. YOU. Other than the fact that the default favorite color of girls is pink, the reason why this is YOUR favorite is probably it tells many things about you, and the color pink simply accentuates your character. You never let any jahe moment to get in the way of your femininity, and I admire you for that. You are never afraid to show everybody who you really are inside and out. In as much as you don’t forget to put your make up on, you know that the beauty from the inside matters most.

With all these said, as your Amazing G.R.A.C.E. baby, I must say, I am proud, grateful, and happy to yours. Shine the brightest Mommy Cathy because you are more valuable than you think you are! xoxo!

Hello ate Cathy. Honestly, before SSGs’ camp had started, I really could not believe that you are the GRLA- Students Group president. I had this typical notion on my mind that presidents are meant to be serious and meticulous in every little thing they do. But you rub out this absurd thinking i have before-hand. Your leadership skills are so unwavering that you didn’t made us feel that you are superior than

us. You treated us not just as followers, but you made us feel like everyone of us are your friends

and of course, your family.

Also, from the span of time that we’ve been togeth-er in Theater Guild, I felt your concerns and care

to me. And i do appreciate all of that, really.

Today, as you leave your title as the GRLA- Stu-dents Group President, the efforts and achieve-ments you unselfishly bestowed towards us and

GRF will still remain and the love we have for you will be in graved in our hearts forever.
