So, a life without color cannot be imagined!

Color symbolism is a very broad and complex topic as it might vary from country to country.

In India, it symbolizes purity.

In Eastern countries, it signifies joy when its combined with white.

In United States, it signifies inexpensive goods.

Different country has different cultures. However, meaning of colors can vary from culture to culture.

Colors and cultures are very closely linked. It might not be an important factor for us, but for a marketer, it is important.

A marketer needs to be aware of such things because if a color in a country is not signified as a good one, it might be a problem.

For example,

if a product is packaged in purple in Thailand to attract the local residents, it might not be a good idea as the color signifies ‘mourning’ in their culture.

But in the western culture, it signifies wealth, royalty and luxury.

Colors are representative of certain religions. For example, Green is considered as holy color of Islam.Judaism is represented by the color yellow.In Hinduism, blue color is represented as the skin color of their God.

OUR SURROUNDINGS:

Color can be inspired by our surroundings. The beauty of nature would never have been appreciated unless there were colors in it.

For example, some green trees and colorful flowers in a neighborhood would add beauty to it.

Colors have a huge impact in our daily life.

Color symbolism is very important for the business world.

However, the concept of ‘what color signifies what’ will remain always complicated and critical, but also important, at the same time.
