HOW IT COMMUNICATES ?
Have u ever Imagined your life
without colors?
What if trees didn’t looked green anymore,
water and the sky didn’t look blue, flowers
were colorless?
Would you love the Nature then?
What if the burger bun didn’t look GOLDEN BROWN
anymore, the cheese in it didn’t look YELLOW, the
LETTUCE in it didn’t look Green and the patty in it
didn’t look Brown? Would you like it?
What if you are wearing a dress that looks same
color everyday? Would you love it?
What if you are watching a fashion show, and there were NO COLORS in it? Would you love it?
So, a life without color cannot be imagined!

Each type of color has a very different meaning than the other.
Color symbolism is a very broad and complex topic as it might vary from country to country.

Some of the common colors are:
•Red•Blue•Orange•Green•Yellow•Violet
REDGenerally, the color ‘Red’ signifies:Flush of loveViolence and warfareStop (in times of traffic)
In China, it symbolize celebration and luck.
In India, it symbolizes purity.
In Eastern countries, it signifies joy when its combined with white.
BLUEGenerally, the color ‘Blue’ signifies:StabilityHarmonyLoyaltyTrust
In China, it symbolize immortality.
In India, it symbolizes the color of Hindu God, Krishna.
In Eastern countries, it is signified as a protective color.
ORANGE
Generally, the color ‘Orange’ signifies:StrengthEndurance
In Ireland, it has a religious significance.
In United States, it signifies inexpensive goods.
GREEN
Generally, the color ‘green’ signifies:SpringRenewal of life
In Ireland, it has a religious significance.
In India, it signifies the color of Islam.
People in tropical countries assume it signifies danger.
YELLOW
Generally, the color ‘yellow’ signifies:ClarityAwareness
In Asia, it signifies to something sacred.
In western culture, it signifies joy and happiness.
VIOLET
Generally, the color ‘violet’ signifies:

Color is a powerful and important communication tool.
This type of communication is called non-verbal communication.
Non-verbal communication is the communication process through sending and receiving wordless messages.

Different country has different cultures. However, meaning of colors can vary from culture to culture.
Colors and cultures are very closely linked. It might not be an important factor for us, but for a marketer, it is important.

A marketer needs to be aware of such things because if a color in a country is not signified as a good one, it might be a problem.

For example,
if a product is packaged in purple in Thailand to attract the local residents, it might not be a good idea as the color signifies ‘mourning’ in their culture.
But in the western culture, it signifies wealth, royalty and luxury.

RELIGION:
Colors are representative of certain religions. For example, Green is considered as holy color of Islam.Judaism is represented by the color yellow.In Hinduism, blue color is represented as the skin color of their God.

OUR SURROUNDINGS:
Color can be inspired by our surroundings. The beauty of nature would never have been appreciated unless there were colors in it.
For example, some green trees and colorful flowers in a neighborhood would add beauty to it.
CONCLUSION
Colors have a huge impact in our daily life.
Color symbolism is very important for the business world.
However, the concept of ‘what color signifies what’ will remain always complicated and critical, but also important, at the same time.
