7. BY CONTRACTURAL ARRANGEMENT, UPON COMPLETION OF THE EXCAVATION THE OWNERSHALL RETAIN A SOILS ENGINEER TO INSPECT THE SUBSURFACE CONDITIONS TO DETERMINEADEQUACY OF FOUNDATION DESIGN. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE THE SOILSINSPECTION BEFORE FOOTING FORM WORK IS PLACED.
8. ANY ERRORS, OMISSIONS, OR CONFLICTS FOUND IN THE VARIOUS PARTS OF THECONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE ARCHITECT AND TOTHE OWENR BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE WORK.
9. SUBSTITUTION OF 'EQUAL' PRODUCTS IS ACCEPTABLE WITH THE ARCHITECTS VERBALCONSENT, FOLLOWED BY HIS/HER WRITTEN CONSENT. UNIQUE SPESIFIED ITEMS ARE INTENDEDAS A QUALITY SPECIFICATION AND MAY BE SUBSTITUTED WITH WRITTEN CONSENT.
10. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PREPARE AND SUBMIT SHOP DRAWINGS OR SAMPLES AS MAY BENECESSARY TO DESCRIBE COMPLETELY THE DETAILS AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE WORK.
