A WARM THANK YOU TO RESIDENTS

There are those who think that Collington residents have lost their sense of community. As the leader of the Residents Association for the past two years, I

would disagree. Committee meetings are generally well attended, as have been the monthly RA Council meetings. However, the real show stopper was last Friday

when we had the election of officers for the RA. As you know, it was an uncontested election, yet 50% of our independent living residents voted. That is

remarkable. Then to further show their sense of community at the Annual Meeting, residents jammed the auditorium, extra seating was brought in, and even then there

were people standing in the back of the room.

A sincere thank you to those who were involved in our activities last week, but more importantly, who have been extremely supportive of the RA programs

throughout the year.

Mike McCulley
