KNOWLEDGERATE
“The term ‘knowledge rate’ defines the percent of graduates for which the institution has reasonable and verifiable information concerning the graduates’ postgraduation career activities. This information may come directly from the graduates via, for example, a survey method. Relevant data, however, may also be provided by employers, or obtained through other sources (e.g., LinkedIn profiles, other online sources, fellow graduates, or parents).” NACE First-Destination Standards and Protocols, January 2014

The staff of the Career Planning Center and the Summer Internship
Program assists students in identifying and clarifying career objectives,
presents vehicles to explore careers and industries, teaches skills and
strategies for conducting a successful job or internship search, and
provides resources to assist students in finding entry-level professional
positions and internships. Students are encouraged to begin the career
planning process during their first year and to continue to utilize Center
resources throughout their four years at Holy Cross.
