The Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology is a premier technical institution in
the industrial city of Chennai. The college was started in the year 2001 by Thiru. S. Regupathy, Founder and
Former Minister of State for Environment and Forests, Govt. of India. Ever since its inception it has set the
stage for quality technical education for the rural students. Our college is affiliated to Anna University,
Chennai and approved by the AICTE, NewDelhi. The college offers Eight undergraduate programmes in
the disciplines of AUTO, BME, BT, CSE, CIVI,, ECE, EEE, IT, MECH and eight post-graduate programmes
viz., MBA, MCA, M.E-CSE, M.E-VLSI, M.E-EST, M.E-PED, M.E-MFG and M.Tech - BT..The departments
of BT, CSE, ECE, EEE and MECH are accredited by NBA, New Delhi. The Institution has signed MOU with
several leading industries and Foreign Universities Viz., Michigan Technological University, USA, and PSB
Academy, Singapore. The Departments of BioTech, CSE, ECE and Chemistry are recognized as research
centres by Anna University, Chennai. The college is recognized by DSIR, New Delhi as Scientific Industrial
Research Organization.
The flashy developments made in the various branches of science in the developing world today,
has opened a new a vision of science and technology. In this regard the nanotechnology as new approach in
all fields is of the utmost importance. For many applications of nanotechnology in various fields of food,
medicine, medical diagnostics and biotechnology to electronics and computers, communications, transport,
energy, environment, aerospace, and national security have enumerated. Social, Political and legal
outcomes of applications of nanotechnology suggest and interdisciplinary and multisectoral scientific field
for nanoscience and nanotechnology. So in the last decade attention by scientists and researchers in
various fields has attracted to this new file of research.
The meeting program will include the latest innovations in Nano science and Nano Technology. The
engagement of attendees from industry and academia will accelerate the translation of research in real time.
The meeting format will include Symposia, General Sessions, Workshops, Panel Discussions, and
Tutorials, covering all aspects of basic, applied, and translational Nano science.
Further, this conference aims to bring common platform for Researchers Academicians, Industrial
experts and practicing Engineers to exchange the ideas and to share the knowledge and experience on the
advanced development and trends in the field of Nano science and Nano technology.
Technical papers are invited based on the conference topics. The authors willing to present in the
conference are requested to submit the full length paper in Ms word format (.doc format), not exceeding 10
printed/typed pages as per IEEE single column format, within the prescribed time limit by an email to
The paper received will be reviewed and scrutinized by the panel of experts. Only
original & unpublished work will be accepted.
The acceptance of the paper will be communicated to the participants by email and the list of
accepted abstracts will be displayed in the website. The papers of only the registered participants would be
considered for publication The paper registered for the conference must be presented by one of the
registered authors in the conference. Certificate of participation/ presentation will be issued to the registered
delegates who attending the conference.
